7 segment timer / Countdown
still some bugs in it..
use noclip to see how it works :] ...plese tell me if you can make a better/smaller/bug free version

well...the main problem is to find a 100% working mechanism which lets the bridges blink...i just have to find a better way to block the lasers :P

i try to find another way later ...

Hmmm... I think I got it : So you use two 1 second timers to make the bridges of the big grid blink, then the cubes fall in front of lazers so that they print the correct number. And the problem is that the cubes in the grid sometimes fall too quickly and do a bad number, or that the timers sometimes stop because the cube fall without cutting the lazer. Well I don't see a solution to make it easier right now, but I have one to make it work!
I'm not sure there will be enough space in height, but the idea is to double the number of horizontal bridges in the grid. Then wire the bridges so that only a half blink and the other do not blink during 0.5 seconds, then the other half blink during the next 0.5 seconds.
And for the timer, I will think about a better 0.5 second flip-flop tomorrow ;)

Well I saw the mechanism... And I'm still not sure how exactly it works X) But as I understood you basically need a 1 second timer ? The thing you did using bridges, cube, lazer and jumper is supposed to do the 1 second tick, isn't it ?

This is a pretty good random number generator for now XD And it is supposed to do a 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 countdown ?
