How to lead your Brave men to victory (Commander Guide)
By The CEO of Based
I often Play as a commander in RO2, and even if I see that there are some other guides on this topic I decided to make mine own, more fulfilling than the others. In this guide I will learn you how to lead your men to victory, whether you`re Erwin Rommel Or Zhukov.
If you like this guide I will update it with a Squad Leader section too, and maybe add it in Polish or some other language too.
This is my first guide, so be kind to me xD.

General info of the Commander role:
Whether you are Erwin Rommel or Zhukov you have to lead your men to victory.
You are the link between the support and your men.

Your Job is to command your brave soldiers, as well as provide them with smoke, artillery and aerial reconnaissance.

You can choose from a variety of weapons, which are fit for different situations you are in.

So this my brave commander, this is how you make der Fuhrer, or Uncle Stalin proud!
Reconnaissance
You are the commander, you must lead our men to battle!
But you have an even more important role, you can use the radios. Localize them on the map, pressing "T" go to them, and if your men say, "commandr plls i need recooon, im spwn killd"
Give them the Recon, this will help them localize the enemies, this can be very usefull if your men are cut off from getting where they want, or if you know there are pesky sharpshooters shooting down the heroes you command. You should give them recon as often as possible, preferably 1 when you think about bombing your enemies, and one between each arrtillery strike you plan. But it is important to give it to your men when they need it the most.

You can also use your binoculars to localize enemies, this can be handy on open maps, where you have to help your men localize sharpshooters.

Offensive reconnaissance:
Artillery
The most important of your jobs is without doubt signalizing to the staff where you need the artillery to drop. You have artillery support once in a few minutes, so use it well!

Most of the time you should use artillery each time it is available, except for if there is danger for your men advancing into the artillery, then you should wait. You should always have aerial reconnaissance before each artillery strike called in. Then you kindly ask your squad leaders to mark you artillery targets, if you are lucky, one of them will mark one after 5 minutes, so be sure to mark some yourself early ingame, when there is yet no danger with sticking your head up.

You should remind your squad leaders to give you targets, and you can also ask someoen, "can someone mark me a target on (ex.) E7?" You want to bomb where your enemies are blobbed arround. You can easily localize that place with the aerial recon.

You NEED to remind your squad leaders to mark some targets, and if they haven`t after 10. min. there is always the execution platoon... No, but really, squad leaders tend to not mark targets unless you ask them to do it for long, so you have to ask them, pretty often.

After a capzone falls/ is captured is a good position to mark artillery targets, the commander is in need of new coordinates, and the enemies are retreating, or pushing without organization, so be sure to update your mark every capzone ( or make your men do that for you).

In the next section I will disscuss different artillery types, and which fits where.

Mark targets, and force squad leaders to do so too.
Weapons to Choose
Russian weapons:

PPsh-Pepesza

Svt-Tokarev

German weapons:

being a squad leader (how to support your commander and your squad)
Your Job is to let people spawn on you, so play defencively. Be careful if you advance, and stay down, this will also give you many points. mark artillery coordinates, and ask your commander if he wants them somewhere else.

And as you also have smoke, use it!

You should always look at the flanks, where people are dying on the map, and support the weaker flanks, or you can stay inside a capzone and let people spawn on you, both are useful, but be sure to make sure that your men can still reach the capzone, as that is the point.
