1/10 difficulty. Don't know what the gel was intended for, didn't use it. 0/10 difficulty in that second room. Might as well just put the cube on the button to start. lol. No need to use lightbridge to block cube. You can grab it easily as it falls. I like the ideas behind it, but it needs some revamping for it to be any challenge. I've made maps in the past using cube ,laser, & funnel to reverse itself back and forth and other methods to control other things. Anyway, Nice start.

Clever little mechanic you've found there with the funnel, I wonder how else you could expand on it? Fun map, but I found the first-section more interesting than the second.

That's fair! And that's what I meant by "take it or leave it" about that one. It's quite solvable and rewarding as it stands.

I do think anyone who's finished the singleplayer campaign will have done a great number of funnel switches with much tighter timing (funnels are probably THE most forgiving timing element due to their natural "grab"), but yeah, the chamber works quite nicely as it is.

Well, in which case, congratulations! You've discovered a ninja solution! I actually think that forcing the player to solve it via your method is.... somewhat cruel to be honest. It seems more of an easy way to die right at the end than a clever puzzle mechanic. Whilst it does seem like a smarter solution, my goal in my maps isn't to make it hard. Either how, your solution is still available for when the player doesn't notice the lasers.

Having had a look at the layout, it would be possible to do that without otherwise changing the map even as it stands. The portalable surfaces go just far enough out.

Honestly lolled at the first part. I know I had that same thought though. I looked through the portal at the goo... Decided after a few moments that walking through wouldn't be good.

Secondly, I really like that suggestion! I'll see if I can manage to use it. Thank you very much.

Made me think but wasn't beyond my capacity; I like that.

Some clever use of puzzle elements here - the cube interrupting its own excursion funnel, and the gel . Overall quite fun - even if I did kill myself through a moment of boneheaded stupidity. ( That lightbridge that I've just used to block the cube so I could catch it? Walking through the portal is not a good idea. )

Suggestion, take it or leave it: Rather than turn off the laser field, it might be quite possible to use the funnel to float yourself over the goo, then switch portals. The timing on funnels is gentle enough that any player who got this far shouldn't need a portalable surface opposite. But looking for the laser field to turn off was not the first thing that occurred to me; someone could potentially place a portal down there by muscle memory and not register that the field is gone. )
