Description
Introductory map for my LaserLogic Companion series!

A simple but logically-challenging map. Use the Companion cube paired with a single laser (and a few mirrors) to solve the puzzles. Mostly an introduction to get used to the mechanic.

Now with added water pits to make the puzzle a bit more challenging, but also a lot easier to figure out-
-and now with a bit more water and some augmented laser-catcher positioning for added confusion and clarity!

Hehe, thanks Titos- I was hoping to get that exact reaction actually! A bit of psychology involved- the first thing you learn is the last piece you need- yet also (hopefully) the first thing you forget!

Also thanks G915! Oh well- I was hoping there was not enough room to do that (hence why I placed it so close)

Nice one... you spend the whole map wondering why the first button until suddenly it's clear at the end.

Nice chamber, the kind that you always start overthinking. I solved it by placing both reflector cubes in the 1st room and placing one of them right next to the exit door..

Cheers!
But my friend, you solved the problem the hard way :P

To be more precise, neither cube actually needed to be in the second room at all :P

it was a good aha moment when I figured it out, but getting the exact placement of the redirection cube was maddening. I placed one on the corner above the muck, and directed the laser into it from the other cube on the other side of the liberation field.

Not bad!

I believe I redirected through a portal, which went straight through the three... things. I don't even know the name, lol, but yeah, I didn't even use the button to angle the panel, redirecting straight from the laser's source through portals to finish. Simple, but effective.

Interesting, did you guys manage to fit it onto the corner? (that's actually fine- as it isn't the easiest thing to pull off)

Yet another great chamber that makes me feel all brainy when I figure it out, lol

I, too, didn't need the angled panel. Still awesome. Keep up the great work.

Ah thanks for that! I initially wanted to remove the platform behind the laser catchers but didn't want players to tip-toe around it to get to the stairs. But I luckily managed to pull off some fancy geometrical restructuring, so I can now remove the floor outright without getting in the way of convenient walking (or either expanding the room or from moving the catchers themselves)!
As for the upper panel- that's perfectly fine; it exists strictly as a quick escape back into room 1 if they need to so players don't need to switch off the fizzler.

If you want to check out the slightly augmented version I would be most delighted!
