You didn't quite manage to make it non-linear, since the steps to solving it are pretty much predetermined, but you left some room.
The map is definitely worth playing!

I think it was clever and neat, my only complaint is that finding the cube is a little too unintuitive.

good map
but I exited without going further than the faithplate.
I used the faithplate to get momentum to activate pedestal buttons above faithplate & above cube near exit.
did not use panels button near faithplate revealed.
when I used faithplate to activate pedestal button opposite exit, which activaited the tractor beam.
I stood on button to move angled panel, fired portal there, & the other where tractor beam hit portable area.
this moved the cube off the button, which opened exit door.
then I exited.
enjoyed what I did, but if the other areas & elements are not red herrings, it needs fixing.

I noticed you had some automation at the begining.
if you like some automation at the begining,
please try my map:

Thanks for the info. I'll see about changing the glass panel to a grating so you can portal yourself out.

A quick heads up, it is possible to get yourself stuck in the room containing the Weighted Sphere by firing a portal while in those room, resulting in the panels closing in on you.

Other than that, nice work.

This one was really good, got stumped on it for a LONG time and was just about to give up. Finally figured it out though, very creative - the solution isn't obvious. Great job!
