Great map, the sphere drops were amazing. A little skillzy on the second test, but not overly so. Well done! Difficulty 6/10 Design 8/10

I have the same thing with my recent maps. I've had it in some cotrol by creating many separate floating object instead of a single room. Have you read this? It has some really good point for optimizing item limit

I wont have the time and will to start learning Hammer. It takes the fun out of this by making creation sloooow. Have leartned some hc-editors in the past so I know myself by now not to concentrate that for long...

Thanks for the feedback M1kke. Yeah the the map is kind of short because of the object limitation. There is a lot of laserwork going on behined the walls. I did this to remove some of the connection lines from the first version that were confusing for some players. You can see the very first version of the map in video by soundsofentropy (link is in the description bar).

I've been experimenting with scripted events for my next chamber. But this "behind the wall" building concept is just pushing the object limit to fast. I'll have to start learning hammer at some point.

And for the faith plate. I've already tried the ground based plate but it creates a trap spot later on when the bridge is activated. I'll look in to it to see if something else can be done.

Well, this was something new and funny. Although quite easy. Also at first try I dropped right in to the acid because i was moving a bit when dropped. I wonder if the item limit was the reason for this being quite short?

Please, try one mine at some point: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=74420713

I tested the last version : as fun as usual ^^

Just noticed that the timing to make the balls fall in the underground is really short X)

And since the first time I played it, I was inspired by your map and took some idea you had here as the main objective of my Fountain ^^

The new update is up. The first edgeless cube drop is now activated manualy. There might be some other problems that need to be fixed but I'll look in to them if I get more reports from players. Other than that, it looks like we are getting closer to the final version of this chamber. I'm really starting to push the object limit on this one.

May 24, 2012 Update:

- new pedestal button in the first part
- new light bridge setup in the first part

Great map! The theme is very fun. I agree with others basically, its fun and easy. I had two MINOR (very MINOR) issues: the square companion cube sometimes misses the lazer because its scrooked or something, no problem just redo it or the portal if you have time. Also I was trying to stay in the room with the glassed in companion cube on the second playthrough and when I jumped back I died, not really an issue, most people wont do that. You could add a pop up panel behind to prevent it though. And YES! Expand it! the idea and theme are great, since its easy making it longer would be very cool! #F4F please!

Great news! The Edgeless Cube Control was chosen as Fun Map of The Week by Meg n' Pixx. You can find the video in the description and comment section. Thanks again to all players for feedback and comments that helped cocreate this chamber.

In other news. I hired a professional team of egeless cube experts and we realized that people really enjoy watching lots of balls flying and bouncing around the place. That's why I plan to release this small addition for the first part of the chamber.

When you start the map there is a pack of balls already waiting for you. I was wondering if I could spice this up by adding a button that would let you drop the balls on first light bridge. Here is a preview of how it could look/work.

I'm interested in your opinion. Is this is something worth adding or not?
