Getting past the first laser is indeed hard - I made it using wallstrafe, but it took a few tries as well. I don't know if this is even possible without glitch abuse.
Anyway, most of the map can be skipped: after removing the second laser trap, a cube falls down. Drag both cubes back to the exit door with the orange funnel and the chamber is beaten.

This map is not fun at all. Can't get past the first laser. Seems to rely a bit on dumb luck as to be far enough from the pedestral button and to not hit the wall. I'd like to play a puzzle that challenges my mind, not my mouse/keyboard.
