Worcle Worlds is the classic word puzzle game Worcle reimagined for consoles and PC.

The classic Worcle gameplay is addictively simple: shoot balls into the circle to make words. Create words of three or more letters to clear the balls but watch out for the swirling vortex! Don't let the circle fill up or you'll get sucked in and it's game over! Clear the circle completely for bonus points or create cascades of words for high scoring multipliers.

Worcle is short for "words in a circle".

You can download the original game for free on iPhone at www.lightwoodgames.com/worcle.php to experience the core puzzle gameplay.

NOTE: This version on Greenlight is the same game that's coming to Xbox One and Wii U, not the older mobile game!

Worcle Worlds includes a large story mode with hundreds of challenges across ten different worlds, as well as battle mode for two players - locally or online. The graphics have been totally overhauled and there's a brand new soundtrack to accompany your journey through the different worlds.

What Khell does not understand that in today's world where cross-platform releasing is easy and the norm, it's vital to do so to maximize the amount of people who will get to play the game, and thus give revenue to the developer. Especially if you are making a proper PC version instead of just giving us an 1:1 mobile port. So I personally am looking forward to this!

It's greedy in my eyes because with the mobile market you already have a larger customer base than all current-gen consoles combined, or the entire PC market. Then you want to put a slightly-different yet fundamentally-identical game out for consoles and PC too. By nature of your product being simplistic to run on anything, you try to make it available on everything.

PC games would kill for the ability to reach literally everybody who owns a smartphone, but they can't - not if they have the complexity that actually requires a PC. They can't muscle in to your domain, but you wish to muscle in to theirs, and wonder why I call that greedy?

I understand your concerns with casual mobile titles flooding the PC market. We've tried really hard to make that not the case here, but if that's what you see then there's not much I can do. I guess we'll be adding a new video soon to help, too.

What I don't understand though is why releasing on multiple platforms is "greedy"? I don't want you to buy two copies of it! I just want to make sure it's available to anyone that wants it. I have no delusions that anybody is going to buy a Wii U just for this game... ;)

No, this is not the same as the app-version of Worcle, but at its core it is still a mobile game. There is nothing to this "PC" version that elevates it above mobile app, and I am vehemently against mobile games porting to PC and flooding the last decent place we have to get legitimate PC games. When you already have a market as large as everybody with an Android or Apple phone, PLUS you claim this is going to two consoles, you have enough. You don't need Steam, and we don't need yet another two-dollar casual game.

Not trying to be mean about it, but from where I stand you're just being greedy.
