Nano-one Launch
Description
nano-one is the first molecular visualization, modeling and simulation tool for today’s VR platforms. It provides immersive, scientifically-accurate models of the building blocks of matter, letting scientists design new medicines, materials and machines.

Download a sneak preview now: nano-one is the first iteration of our nanoengineering design engine - allowing users to build with organic molecules Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen and Hydrogen.

nano-one is a tool used for designing from the bottom up using atoms. You can be inside your chemistry to design using the building blocks of life to design new molecular, encode information in DNA or build your own nanotechnology.

Why? Designing with the source-code of matter is not just for scientists. Starting with the Table of Elements instead of the brick (for example) now anyone who can build in 3D for Minecraft can now make complex nanobiotechnological forms in VR.

You can see how the world works at this fundamental level.. and re-make it.. You can draw upon existing structures, based on the most accurate molecular imaging and geometries available to scientists, or can start from scratch and build --atom-by-atom-- new proteins, molecules and simulate their interactions.

We are linking nano-one with complementary molecular modeling and simulation software. Geometries may be saved and exported to other programs that may read the coordinates of what you create - from molecules to arbitrary geometries.

The system was designed in partnership with the University of California, San Diego and Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, and is now being laboratory tested for workflow integration, modeling precision, and optimal pattern-recognition and discovery.

Interesting idea! Do you plan on localizing your tool? Me and our localization team can do a great job: http://www.indielocalization.com

Yes please, have just emailed you -- will test the crap out of it and come back with detailed UX critique...

Add function to search for compound that you draw and maybe even link it to PubChem or other chemistry database for fast search where you can study the compound properties. Look forward to using this in the lab.

So you're telling me I can relive my worst nightmares of organic chemistry by building and naming organic compounds and molecules in Virtual Reality... Yea I'm sold, give me my benzene rings now!~
