Paper files can easily be stolen and/or destroyed. Digital files, especially if they're hanging around your neck and your armed with a shotgun, not so much.

dig, chill ok? people havent complained (much) about the lazors and so on. prehaps they have a 1 byte proto-type of a usb drive. will it matter?

it could be a whistle, like a pyro whistle. change the model (idea) because a usb is kinda modern..

Texture needs a tad bit of work, specifically the plug.
Oh, and I agree with Gumby, it's just too modern, even for the Engineer. Maybe floppy disks would be sorta believable (considering there is a lot of non-60s tech like Spy equipment and any Engineer building), but a flash drive? No.
