Nicely done. Hard to get throught but very satisfied to get.

You can quick save

mostly very good, but i didn't like the ending. i kept dying in the acid pit, which got depressing. i'd strongly recommend you install BEEMOD and use it to add some checkpoints to this map, as it's very frustrating to be 90% done, misjudge one jump over the acid, and then find yourself back at the start. like i said though, lots of very enjoyable stuff in the first 80% of the map!

Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it. But it isnt impossible if you use the bridge at the end. Uh, but then again, which water part? I made a new map that is... well unforgiving in purpose but has the puzzle which the other guy has mentioned. Just this time, the blue gel is fixed and does not require your knowledge where to put or use the blue gel.

Ah yes. The other left. Sorry about that :D

It was tricky, but doable.

OOoo, that button. That button is no big deal. You said bottom LEFT so i got confused, no biggie. Didnt think jumping the gap would be managable.

It was only after I went back to find the companion cube that I realised that it was the cubes that were vital >_<

I'll try again in the blue gel bit and see if I can work it out - now that I know I can quick save, it won't be as painful :D

Going back to the previous sections is totally what makes this map excellent. Bookending with the light bridge is perfect :)

The button is in the room with the red gel. By the looks of the thumbnail, it's meant to raise a portalable surface that you can run into (I got by with jumping over the gap that doesn't get covered in gel).

Yeah, i know, but i trust the player to not destroy it as it is... Vital.

I dont know which button you are talking about.

On the bit u found difficult, you need to launch your self by jumping from the blue gel into a portal right above u on the ceiling. This will give u the momentum to figure out the rest. i left the small corners on purpose as it... really was a revelation to me to making that puzzle :|

Remember, you can quick save.

My biggest fear was making the player released back into the previouse sections which would confuse them alot, but it ads to the puzzle. Like the very last bit to the exit door. u use the bridge u first used to make a platform u jump on etc.

Thank you for the comment, i appriciate it. Also, can u mention the button again? Sounds like a pretty big flaw to me.

This was an enjoyable map, and the ways that you've linked the areas together is fantastc.

Some comments: It's possible to destroy the companion cube with the fizzler in the hallway it reveals after placing it in the cube button. I completed the level without pressing the button that's visible in the bottom left of the thumbnail (which made that section a lot harder than it should have been). I'm not certain if I found the 'correct' solution for the final area (I reached it by portaling onto a barely visible portalable corner on the floor across the water - I'm assuming I was meant to be able to get there using the gel, but I couldn't find a way). On the whole, the map is pretty unforgiving. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is a *long* way back to the final room if you slip up and die from a silly mistake.

Again, great map. Keep up the good work :)
