Hand Built Maps:
Each of the maps in the Omega Squadron Map pack were sculpted by hand (some painted by hand) to emulate the planetary 'terrain style' of their respective planets. With a few exceptions, this is to make the maps feel new, natural, and familiar.

Strategize As The Black Dogs:
On every MPI and strat map in the Omega Squadron Map Pack, if you choose a black dog unit in the unit selection screen, you will receive a Black Dog recycler instead of an NSDF one when the game starts.

Power for the Setting:
On every MPI and strat map in the Omega Squadron Map Pack, constructors build power plants to match the planet you're playing on. If the map is on Venus or Titan, you will build L-Powers. If the map is on Mars (and sometimes Titan), you will build W-Powers. All other planets feature the good old S-Powers.

Skirmish Enabled DM Maps:
All deathmatch maps are lua-powered Skirmish Maps, with many custom commands allowing the host to customize, restrict and expand normal deathmatch gameplay. If no custom commands are entered, all MPA maps in this pack play exactly like normal deathmatch.

Skirmish Commands:
/bots [faction] - Where faction = CCA, NSDF, BDOG, FURY; enables and disables the endless spawning of AI bots (skirmish mode). More players, more units.
/difficulty [1-10] - Changes the number of bots that spawn per player, 1 by default.
/wavemode [on/off] - Enables or disables wave mode for skirmish. Disabled by default.
/wavetimer [seconds] - Sets the number of seconds between waves for wave mode.
/skirmishhelp - Shows a list of commands best viewed from the pause menu.
/skirmishcredits - Credits those who contributed to skirmish DM.
/allyall - Allies all players. A good choice for coop in skirmish mode.
/unallyall - Unallies all players.
/friendlyfire [on/off] - Players who kill allies are punished.
/spawnkill [on/off] - All pilots and neutral vehicles are invincible. No sniping.
/infantry [on/off] - All pilots have increased health and ammo, as well as a better weapon.
/teamdm [on/off] - Allies players 1,3,5,7 and players 2,4,6,8.
/onegun [on/off] - All craft are limited to a single weapon.
/bztnt [on/off] - All players have infinite ammo.
/weapons [on/off] - Toggles weapon spawning on the map.
/powerups [on/off] - Toggles health and repair pack spawning on the map.
/navs [on/off] - Toggles NAV cameras on the map.
/mag [on/off] - Toggles MAG Cannons. They do not spawn, and are replaced by AT-Stabbers on tanks.
/blast [on/off] - Toggles Blast Cannons. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/spstab [on/off] - Toggles SP-Stabbers. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/thumper [on/off] - Toggles Thumpers. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/mines [on/off] - Toggles Mines. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/cloaking [on/off] -Toggles RED Field and Phantom VIR. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/specials [on/off] - Toggles all specials. They do not spawn, and are replaced on tanks.
/bombersonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a bomber.
/scoutsonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a scout/fighter.
/tankssonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a tank.
/lighttanksonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a light tank.
/rockettanksonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a rocket tank.
/walkersonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a walker.
/snipersonly [on/off] - Removes the vehicle of anyone who doesn't join as a pilot.
/rocketmap [on/off] - Replaces all weapons on the map with rocket bombs. (e.g., scouts and rockets)
/ravemap [on/off] - Replaces all weapons on the map with rave guns.
/powerweapons [on/off] - Spawns rapidly respawning Flash Cannons, MAG Cannons, Hornets, and SP-Stabbers on special paths.
/randomweapons [on/off] - Spawns random weapons on special paths.

Skirmish is still very much in BETA, and functionality is not guaranteed. Low and middle end computers may have performance issues with higher numbers of bots and players. If you encounter any bugs or repeatable crashes, post concerns, questions, hopes and desires below!

MPI Commands:
/allenemyunitsdestroyed - Kills all AI controlled units. (also: /killai)
/lemnosfactory - Gives AI controlled teams an absurd amount of scrap. (also: /deathwish)
/divideandconquer - For maps with multiple AI teams, unallies the AI teams. (also: /unallyai)
/unitedtheystand - For maps with multiple AI teams, allies the AI teams. (also: /allyai)
/letushavepeace - Allies all human controlled teams. (also: /allyall)
/ifitsawartheywant - Unallies all human controlled teams. (also: /unallyall)
/theeaglehaslanded - ???
/downtothenightclub - ??????...??

Notice: combining /killai and /unallyall quickly turns any MPI map into a strat map!

Thanks to JuiceMakerr, GoombaBZ, Ded10c, Cothonian, and many others for testing and bugfixes.

Very special thanks to Potato_047, The Deus Ex, and dabbertorres for scripting contributions and major bug fixes.

I am not the original author of the terrain from Battle Arena. I will honor any request by the author of this map to have it removed.

Love these maps! Thanks so much for your hard work. Every time my friend and I play one of them, though, our session disconnects. Still haven't gotten to finish a match, but we've only tried three of your strategy maps so far. We don't have this problem on the vanilla maps.

I was looking at the Lua for the arena maps and I noticed there is more factions than just the cca, nsdf, bdog and fury avalible. Are those part of a work in progress. Or an opening for others to expand on the maps. And just one final question. The lua. isnt map specific, it seems that as long the map lua. refrences the proper path names each will port over to a new map. So that in mind what kind of map is Arena? usrmsn, multdm? I ask because, well I'd like to make one.

Thank you for what you've done ScrapPool, I appreciate it.

Yes, that can be done with these maps (MPI gametype). You might find a bug or strange thing here or there but by in large they should work well!

I never dabbled in multiplayer for this game back in the day. Reading your description gives me hope in assuming that this allows a group of friends to play against the AI in the game's main aspects (building bases, squaring off etc).

Can that be done with these maps? Because that would be really cool.
