The last level spiced it up a bit, but it's still basically noise based Dance Dance Revolution, except you play /with/ DDR, your successes and screw ups are immediately rewarded or penalized. When I made a mistake in this game I often knew before the alien finishes, and since the FF and Retry buttons didn't work I'd have to sulkily wait for my character to lose.
I'm curious as to what you have in mind for the games future, as the core gameplay does not leave me impressed. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend selling this, especially if it's your first game (I noticed there was no other games under that Itchio account).
However I wonder how you are going to keep it interesting after the first few levels. During the last levels of the demo the gameplay seemed to become a bit repeptitiv. Maybe you can play a bit with sound related events to make it a bit mor interesting. Just making the sequences longer/faster won't be as interesting I think. Maybe you can do semthing dynamic and not just repeat the alien's moves.
Also the tutorial needs some rework I think. I really didn't get that I had to press the correct button during the alien's walk in the first level. I somehow thought I could press any button there and was supposed to press the correct button during my walk. Maybe try to make that clearer.
