Hack Plus

Gain 5 or 3 hacking skill points after each successful hack depending on difficulty of hack attempted or 1 point for failed hack. All point gain is configable using ini.

Rewards can be randomized using ini setting. I also left debug settings in the ini which makes hacks always succeed and makes them not cost an action (similar to lightning hands). These are off by default.

If you're concerned with OP then turn on the diminishing returns options in the ini. Reward gain is reduced by 1 for every 20 levels above a certain value. (Based on Zetsumi's suggestion)

Inspiration came from watching ChristopherOdd's Legend Ironman playthrough on YouTube. Techno-bable follows: This mod uses UIScreenListener to modify FinalizeHack and FinalizeIntrusion, FinalizeSkullJack and FinalizeSkullMine templates. Anything that modifies hacking in these templates will likely conflict.

@Mangelan ► the mod's files are located in
[the path to your Steam install]\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\639884488
where 268500 is the XCom2 number game for Steam and 639884488 is the number of the mod.
The path to your Steam install is, if you didn't change the default option during installation of the Steam client : C:\Program Files (x86)
The .ini you're looking for is XComHackPlus.ini in the config folder of the mod.

@AndrewZ ► just hit the green button "subscribe" near the name of the mod and above the mod description. Then wait for it to download automatically from Steam. Launch the game and enable/disable the mods you want to be active in your campaign (or preferably in your *new* campaign

Hmm... maybe this is of public utility.
Always check if the +X hack bonus is being showed after hacking. It took me long enough to figure the mod wasn't working (Not only the +X bonus wasn't showing, but also no actual bonus was being given) and I only managed to make it work again after reinstalling it.

Do not know what caused it, cause by the time I noticed it, it could be a number of things (Mods, crashes, etc.)
Anyway, very good mod dev!

For anyone using Grimy Loot Mod (LW2 Beta version) know this:
If you have a soldier/spark equipped with any upgrade that comes with Grimy that boosts the hacking stat and you do a hack with Hack plus enabled whatever boost they got from the upgrade will be applied permanently.

For example:
The 'Superior Trojan Protocol' adds 15 to the hacking stat.
Failing/Succeeding in a hack will then add +1 from Hack plus but also +15 because of the upgrade this will lead to crazy high hacking stats if you have the Spark Upgrade which can add plus 50 - 90 at a time.
