Hey! We're only a week in to the Greenlight campaign and things are going great! A big thanks to the community for your votes and comments.

A few questions have come up since the beginning of the campaign, so we've assembled a f.a.q. in response:

Midnight F.A.Q.

What is Midnight at the Celestial Palace: Chapter I?

A fantasy point-and-click adventure game with interactive songs that is set in a magic dreamworld. The first of three episodes, Chapter I chronicles Greg and Squiggles' journey to reach the Celestial Palace. Expect a healthy dose of humor, a good story, and plenty of interesting characters to meet during your adventure.

How long will Midnight at the Celestial Palace: Chapter I be?

3-4 hours, depending on whether or not you stop to smell the roses and/or need to take extra time with some of the puzzles.

These songs seem interesting. Tell me more about them.

The songs in the game take shape in different ways, but in essence, you pick the lines you want to sing during particular points in the song and the nature and tone of the accompanying music reflects these choices. While these songs could easily stand on their own, we really wanted to give the player an active role in their execution and shape.

So how many songs are we talking about??

There are three interactive songs in this first chapter. But the music doesn't stop there! There are a few surprises, and of course, the game itself has its own great theme song. Top it off with an epic original score, and you've got quite the musical experience!

The game's in English, right? What about additional languages?

We are currently looking into including German text translations. Other languages are a possibility if the demand is there.

Any plans for the game being released on additional platforms?

Absolutely! However, right now we are focusing exclusively on the PC version to make sure it's the best it can possibly be. We will be considering releasing Mac and/or Linux versions a bit after the game launches on PC.
