Description
Speeds up the game by removing pointless pauses and other time-wasters.
All changes are purely cosmetic.

UPDATED TO SUPPORT WAR OF THE CHOSEN!
For a version that doesn't require War of the Chosen, see here

Combat changes:
  • Removed various pauses:
    • After shooting, throwing grenades, abilities, etc.
    • After getting a kill
    • After going into cover
    • Reanimating corpses and unburrowing chryssalids
    • Revealed enemies cinematic time
  • Removed some unskippable Bradford voiceovers:
    • 1, 3, and 6 turns remaining warnings
    • Civilians dying warning
  • Increased Gremlin movement speed by 150%
  • Removed 33% slowdown of enemies not being attacked during overwatch slowmo (enemies being attacked are unaffected)

Non-combat changes:
  • Increased the speed of the Avenger on the global map
  • Reduced the fade-in time of the horrendously slow color picker

I would like a version that doesn't remove the cutscene of triggering an Avatar. You barely fight any of them and I enjoy their intro animation.

By any chance does this remove (or speed up) the cinematic display of pod triggers (especially annoying with missions that have a lot of reenforcement drops as well as lost swarms)

Now after playing WOTC with and without this mod for almost 30h side by side i have to tell it's not as good as it was in vanilla Xcom 2.
In WOTC seeing alien pod makes game stutter while without the mod it fluids normally when aliens start running in to covers

Stuff similar and like that make the gameplay annoying rather than nice imo. I don't know why this is, but you sure it's working 100% on WOTC? Most annoying thing is that it takes forever to progress in combat whenever someone gains skill point from ambush etc...

I have used this mod with both XCOM2 and WOTC but in both cases (with no other mods) it didn't get rid of the "look - enemies" intoduction video every time you see an enemy squad.

The speed up of the camera causes it to go below the ground when it zooms in to the Reaper after a shot from shadow.
