C5A Legacy - Polyhydra

Description
Damage-oriented heavy caster.

Note: This ship assumes that you, the pilot, have no limit in terms of how many weapons and other systems you are capable of using constantly. If this is not the case, your results may be sub-optimal.

Usage guidelines:
-Fire all of the weapons, all of the time. You never know when someone is going to fly into the cloud of death.
-Move, but slowly, or even in circles. The idea is that you want your mines to keep laying, but you don't want to go outside of the cloud of death.
-Keep replacing your maintenance turrets, even if they didn't die; you want to have one, or better yet, both of them, near you at all times. Just make sure to leave a little space between them, so that they can't both get splashed by one hit.
-Feel free to replace your Mercurial Beam Turrets, even if they're not dead, so that they can be in the action. That said, remember that there's a brief delay before it can resume fire after being replaced.
-Watch both your energy and your ammunition when deciding when to use Sage Surge. You want to be overcharged at all times, but spacing out the Surge a bit can help keep you from overloading. At the same time, the Surge is also how you restock your ammunition, so if you're empty, you may want to Surge even if you've got plenty of overcharge.
-Watch out for restock powerups. You may have to dodge them in order to avoid overloading.
-If you are in a safe spot and near overloading, you can use your power core's Reload ability to reduce your overcharge. Be VERY CAREFUL with this, though, because you are extremely vulnerable while reloading.
-It is better to bring the enemy to you than visa versa. You've got Plex Portal (and so do your clones) to help in this regard. That said, you don't want to delay when you don't have to, especially if the enemies are going to get kills and become stronger.
-Contra Nova shots bounce, so you do massive damage in small, enclosed areas. At the same time, in wide, open areas, you may be vulnerable to fast ships armed with a lot of heavy weapons. That said, you don't want to fall behind the tempo of the match, so consider using movement to a small area as a tactic if you find yourself on the back foot.
