Description
Release date: Spring 2016

Like Strategy and Tower Defense Games?

Orbital Assault is a tower defense game with a twist of a shoot them up.
Orbital Assault is nothing like what you have seen in terms of design for tower-defense games. Our main innovative feature is that the towers are placed at the ships, and players will be able to move the ships around and place there anywhere on the screen. Our goal is to bring all the quality of a full-fledged strategy game (like Starcraft or Warcraft) to an occasional mobile game. Also, we want to give the player the feeling of taking control of a huge ship in a battle of a multitude of elements, but keeping the fun of an ocasional tower defense!

There will be an upgrade lab to purchase increments to your ships, also each ship have their own unique set of advantages and disadvantages. Players will be able to set up their small fleet (up to three ships). So far we have 6 playable ships spread into 3 categories. There are three power ups to help you along the way - Tractor Beam / Pulsar Blast / Dragonfly (a badass support ship).

Background History and Setting

Our game story takes place on Mars, years after the terraforming process started, native martians (known as Vallisians) declared war on the Earth Alliance. You play with young Captain Gabe Walker, who has been assigned to control a small fleet on the most important Orbital Assault that the Earth Alliance is launching on Mars. On your side you have the company of a beautiful Lieutenant called Aiko, who pilots the Support Ship Dragonfly (one of your Powerups). Also Commander Vigo is the older guy in charge of the Mars Campaign and the one that is always picking up on you.

Features

- 6 playable ships (Unlock different skins as you play through)
- Various enemies with exclusive features
- Make your towers more powerful through upgrades
- Towers and resources management in a traditional tower defense style
- Three unique power-ups: Tractor Beam (holds enemy in their positions) / Pulsar Blast (Powerful explosion) / Dragonfly (Badass support ship that deals loads of damage
- Original Soundtrack
- Exclusive Characters and background story
- 12 levels based on actual Mars locations and history.

Well... for now this is what I have, I'll be posting some more screenshots as we go and more updates.

I hope you all like the game and the art, and have fun playing it!
