SM Player Essential
Created By the Strategy Master
----------------------------

This mod allows your player to become essential like all the other unkillable NPC's.

Default Mode
-------------------------------------------
When you lose all health you will kneel on the ground then stand back up with a small amount of remaining health.
Each time you become unconscious you will sustain an injury. An injury includes a number of penalties to health, magicka, fatigue, regen rates etc.
Injuries will recover naturally after 5 minutes.

If you are killed too soon after recovering you will die and become a ghost leaving your body and equipment on the ground.

As a ghost you become invulnerable, invisible, walk silently, cannot attack, and cannot interact with the environment.
After 30 seconds you can attack or interact with items to phase back into the world or wait 3 minutes.

Note: If you die before collecting your items back from your old body your loot will be available at your new corpse.

Customization
-------------------------------------------
A lesser power "Manipulate Death" allows you to change how the mod behaves or disable entirely when casted

Essential Only Mode:
Disables the Ghost feature, i.e you will forever be knocked to the ground and accumlate injuries

Ghost Only Mode:
Disables being knocked to the ground and accumilating injuries. When you die you will become a ghost always.

Hardcore Mode:
When you turn into a ghost all non-quest loot is lost, stolen and unrecoverable

Ghost Difficulty:
Easy - You retain your items when you die as a ghost
Normal - You lose your items but can be recovered from your corpse
Hardcore - Your items are permanently lost

Other Config:
Coin Loss: Enable to lose 10% of your coin every time you die
Enable/Disable Injuries: You can enable and disable injuries being applyed on each essential death.
Knock Out Mode:
First Person: You do not drop to your knees. If you have issues with essential death breaking player animations or player transformations (vampire, warewolf etc) use this

mode.
Third Person: You will see player drops to there knees on an essential death. This is the best experience but not entirely bug proof.

Disable/Uninstall: You must use this option if you want to uninstall the mod.
Before disabling ensure nothing is happening around you, no spell effects are currently affecting you. Failure to do so may cause the uninstall process to fail or break your

player animations.
The process will take 10 seconds and you may fall to your knees during this time. Once a message appears saying mod has been disabled you may re-enable or uninstall the mod

completly.

Notes
------------------------------
-There are no quest markers to your old killed body by design.
-I decided not to put in a telport to other plane to recover your body as that has the potential to break quests.
-There is still an issue where occasionaly you get killed 1-2 more times even though no one is harming you, still looking into the cause of this.
-If you lose player sounds after disabling the mod, saving and reloading your game will restore the sounds.

Future Improvements
------------------------------
Guards can send player directly to jail if he is knocked to the ground
Players Dead body should be equipped with what he had when he died
Make injuries permanent until healed with injury kits
Stop guards able to harass you about crimes when in ghost mode.

Version History
------------------------------
v2.0b
- Fixed an issue that could occur at full health that could kill the player when uninstalling the mod.

v2.0
- Added option to lose 10% of your total gold on death.
- Added easy ghost mode option where you do not have to recover your items.
- Added option to disable injuries (and fixed bug causing injuries not being applied)
- Fixed the disable mod option. Need to wait 10 seconds for everything to reset to normal.
- Disabled kill moves from occuring on the player. Player kill moves still occur. This is to fix numerous bugs with kill moves in general.
- Fixed an issue where the player would die while doing a kill move.
- Added a first person essential death mode where you do not fall to your knees. If you have issues with the standard third person option (dawnguard transformations etc) this

may fix your issues.
- Improved the response to falling to your death.

v1.31
- Warewolf transformations are now handled correctly, when killed as a wareworlf you revert back into human form (dawnguard transforms to do for the future once I buy

dawnguard)
- Fixed bug with sync kill deaths and not being able to move anymore.

v1.3
- Improved Reliability of death mechanics (Now using new deferredDeath functions to do same affect as being an essential actor )
- Kill moves will now work again on the player.
- Hopefully fixed loss of player sounds.
- Now takes 5 seconds up from 3 to recover after a knock down
- After knock down you now get 1/4 of your total health back rather than just 10 health

v1.2
- Added Ghost Only Mode
- Hardcore mode can be applied to either of the two ghost modes (only works on ghost modes)
- After 30 seconds as a ghost you can now manually interact with the environment or attack to break out of ghost mode early.
- More fixes to ensure a knocked out player will recover.

v1.1c
- Further fix for edge cases that could also break the player camera on recovery.
- Made it a little easier to lose enemies in ghost mode

v1.1b
- Fixed a bug breaking the player camera if killed again the moment you have recovered (some injuries were also causing this problem to occur).
- Buffed some of the effects of the injuries so they are more noticeable.
- Decreased total ghost duration to 3 minutes down from 5 minutes.
- Fixed disabling and re-enabling always ignoring your selected mode choice.
- Rags now only get added to the player in hardcore mode.

v1.1
- Two new modes: Essential Only to play without the ghost effect, Hardcore to lose all your equipment when you die.
- Added "Manipulate Death" configuration power to change the mode of the mod or disable entirely.
- Fixed player not always staying on the ground for 3 seconds.
- Reduced the delay for you to turn into a ghost. Before it waited until you had stood up again.
- Player is now clothed in rags after being a ghost.
- Fixed logic so you turn into a ghost if killed again within 30 seconds.

v1.0b
- Fixed an issue with iron armor sets being added to your corpse
- Added insurance that items on an existing corpse get carried over to the new one when you die.

I am because I had lots of animation issues with 3rd person death. In other issues, please consider using SkyUI's MCM in future versions.

I'm surprised essential death worked. I actually only expect ghosted form to work unless you are using first person death mode which was created specifically for essential mode to be compatable with transformations.

There seems to be some compatiblity issue with Dawnguard. When player dies and becomes ghost, the vampire lord form does not work. I turned to essential death mode and avoided the problem.

@mucusSTfriend: Thanks for the report, I will look into it.

I love the consequences of dying but "broken bones" seems wrong. I get reduced speed even after the effect and I need to save and reload for the effect to stop. The effect also stops by saving-reloading even before time runs out. I do not know if other injuries are broken too, reduced speed is the apparent one.

@general kysieran damn cheers for replying though. no one seems to know what's going on with it D:
