Scoville

Description
The town of Scoville likes it hot! Very hot! That means they love their peppers – but they're too busy eating them to grow the peppers themselves. That's where you come in.

You've been hired by the town of Scoville to meet their need for heat. Your role as an employee of Scoville is to crossbreed peppers to create the hottest new breeds. You'll have to manage the auctioning, planting, and harvesting of peppers, then you'll be able to help the town by fulfilling their orders and creating new pepper breeds. Help make the town of Scoville a booming success! Let's get planting!

Would it be possible to add a rule book into this mob?

@dragonGOD: True. A couple possible approaches: Provide some smaller number of cards, say numbers 1 through 10, and let the players submit multiple cards if necessary (such as 10+3 for $13, etc). While I admit I've only seen the game played so far, I just can't fathom this being inaedquate for bid amounts.

Another idea would be to give each player a writeable plain white note card which they can interact with and write their bid on and then lay it face down and flip as before. This is probably the best solution as tidiness goes, but it could result in a lot of people not knowing how to edit the card.

Hmm, that would be a decent solution, I'd just have to figure out what's the most anyone would reasonably ever bid.

Oh, and HavOk, I don't have the expansion yet, but if I pick it up I'll definitely get it scanned in.

For handling the secret bidding, what about including a deck of numbered cards in each player's area to be used for bidding? This way they can be flipped face down and then placed on the table and once all cards are on the table, everyone flips to reveal their bid?

Any chance to get the expansion?

Yeah, I considered setting up designated hidden areas for bidding, but since they'd constantly be created and deleted I suppose it's somewhat pointless to add them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Very nice! Goldensly has it - hidden areas are the best/easiest solution usually. players can create/destroy in their color as needed.

Hidden areas are the easiest solution for "in hand" blind bidding.
