Just a guide for those who want to experience Guilty Gear Xrd in its true glory :D, also the UI was fixed with the latest update 1.0.1.

Downloading GeDoSaTo.
To download GeDoSaTo, simply go to this site and follow the steps to download it

http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?page_id=582

Editing GeDoSaTo for Xrd
So when you first load up GeDoSaTo you will be presented with this window.
first thing to do is add Guilty Gear Xrd to the user whitelist. click on the user whitelist button and add GuiltyGearXrd to it, It should look like this.

Now its time to edit the settings of GeDoSaTo to increase the render resolution and fix the UI artifacts. So obviously click the edit settings button and change the following for the specific values.

forceAlwaysDownsamplingRes false to forceAlwaysDownsamplingRes true
overrideWidth 0 to overrideWidth 1280
overrideHeight 0 to overrideWidth 720

Now scroll up to the top of the settings text editor and you will see a few resolutions varying from
3200x1800@60 all the way to 7680x4320@60. The lowest resolution on this list (3200x1800@60) is by default the lowest downsample resolution GeDoSaTo will render at if you leave this unchange. so if you want to rendering 1440p, simply add 2560x1440@60 on top of the other resolutions, for 4K simply add a # in front of 3200x1800@60 like this #3200x1800@60. Any higher resolutions or lower resolutions you should want to set should be pretty straight forward and easy to set up from here.

Heres an example of how the settings should look as well just incase you need it:

Changing settings in Xrd
Now this is really the simplest part!

When Xrd is loaded change the resolution in game with GeDoSaTo running to 1280x720.

Once its in windowed mode just press ALT+ENTER and it should enter fullscreen again and it all should work if done properly :).

You do NOT need to do this everytime after you do it the first time as the game will load in fullscreen from now on unless you change the in game resolution again. GeDoSaTo does need to be on though.

Now your game should look better than ever!

Now have fun! LETS ROCK!

Using uMod with GeDoSaTo
So, you guys may have seen xRuneXero's post/guide on his palette swaps mods he made here http://steamcommunity.com/app/376300/discussions/0/487877107133438413/ and may be asking, DOES IT WORK WITH GEDOSATO?!?!?!.

To answer that, it does, but you need to change a setting in GeDoSaTo to make it work!

Simply go to GeDoSaTo's settings and change the following:

interceptOnlySystemDlls false
to interceptOnlySystemDlls true

Now, after you set up uMod by following xRuneXero's guide and adding the command to GeDoSaTo, the two programs should work fine together now, you do need to have both of them running though for the texture overriding to work.

So now to download the palettes :D, just go to this nexusmods link and select which ones you want to download!

Also heres a showcase of the May Mario palette in 4K :)

Also in addition, I made some button retextures so you can have PS3, PS4, or Xbox One buttons in game now!

I don't know if someone already asked, but my Steam Community is now really small and in the top left of my screen. I am not sure why this is happening. I used your settings in the pastebin and edited them for my monitor size and frequency (1280x1024, 75Hz), and the game looks great. If you know how to fix my Steam Community problem, it would be appreciated.

Yeah I found out that I need to shift+enter before entering the menu otherwise it crashes. Something's wrong with the downsampling resolution I guess. After shift enter it works well in 3K. Also, I can't downsample to 4K, I don't know why, even tho I add the #.

Maybe you're using an OSD like MSI Afterburner or FRAPS?
