Description
I hereby present my Getae Roster Expansion Mod!
- This mod contains 16 unique units with 4 custom Standard Bearers and 7 custom Officers. This is the most ambitious mod i've made so far.
But please let the criticism be constructive, so i know what to do better and what to keep on doing.

This mod is savegame compatible, and all of the units are recruitable from within the dacian culture group.
The contents of this mod is subject to change, such as balancing or other various tweaks.

This mod is not entirely historical accurate, nor does intend to be so.
And if you like the mod, then please leave either a comment or rate it, thank you in advance :)

Additional Info:

Kogaionon was the holy mountain of the Geto-Dacians, the place where Zalmoxis stayed in an underground cave for three years. After his disappearance into Kogaionon, he was considered dead by the Getae but after three years he resurrected and showed himself to the people, who became convinced by his holy preaching when he emerged from Kogaionon. Strabo claims that a river with the same name flowed in the vicinity. One modern translation of Kogaionon is "sacred mountain", which would be connected to a probable Dacian word kaga meaning "sacred", attested in two early 2nd century inscriptions from Tomis.

Zalmoxis is a divinity of the Getae, mentioned by Herodotus in his Histories IV, 93–96. In later interpretations, which began with Jordanes (6th century AC) and proliferated during the 19th and 20th century, mainly in Romania where it is known by the name of Zamolxis, he was regarded as the sole god of the Getae or as a legendary social and religious reformer who, according to Herodotus, taught the Getae a belief in immortality, so that they considered dying merely as going to Zalmoxis. Herodotus states that Zalmoxis was also called by some of the Getae "Gebeleizis", which made some researchers conclude that Getae were actually henotheists or even polytheists.
Herodotus about Zalmoxis: The Getae are the bravest of the Thracians and the most just. They believe they are immortal in the following sense: they think they do not die and that the one who dies joins Zalmoxis, a divine being; some call this same divine being Gebeleizis. Every four years, they send a messenger to Zalmoxis, who is chosen by chance. They ask him to tell Zalmoxis what they want on that occasion. The mission is performed in the following way: men standing there for that purpose hold three spears; other people take the one who is sent to Zalmoxis by his hands and feet and fling him in the air on the spears. If he dies pierced, they think that the divinity is going to help them; if he does not die, it is he who is accused and they declare that he is a bad person. And, after he has been charged, they send another one. The messenger is told the requests while he is still alive.

Most of the ancient Dacian cavalry were either Dacian Horsemen trained by Sarmatians or Sarmatian Allies themselves, who were tough and skilled horsemen, respected and feared by many.

The most famous tool/asset the Dacians had, was the legendary Falx. The Dacian Falx came in two sizes: One-handed and Two-handed, the shorter one-handed variant was typically called "Sica" meaning "Sickle" in the Dacian language, with a blade length that varied from type to type, but it was usually around 41 cm long, with a handle 1/3 longer than the blade itself. The Two-handed variant was more like a Pole-Arm, consisting of almost 1 m long wooden shaft, with a long and curved iron blade of nearly equel length attached to the end. Doing modern-day archaeological excavations they found evidence that suggested that the one-handed variant was also used two-handed by the Dacians. It was a well feared weapon with a devastating impact, capable of slicing a human in two, armor or no armor.

The Getae felt pretty underwheling, unit-wise, so you additions are very welcome, as you helped spice up my campaign quite a bit. Thanks!
