Description
----------
Features
----------

Apocalypse contains 180+ fair and balanced spells that add depth to the game and make spellcasters more fun and interesting to play. Most new spells are unique and heavily scripted.

Creativity
You want to be a mage because you want to stand out from the crowd? Developing your mage is a much less one-dimensional process than in the regular game: you can even avoid Destruction altogether and still pack a powerful magical punch.

Skill
You want to be a mage because you are highly intelligent? Many Apocalypse spells reward skillful aiming, timing or preparation or synergise well with each other or favourable terrain features for maximum effectiveness.

Balance
You want to be a mage because killing dragons in one hit with an enchanted weapon is not manly? Although more options always equals more power, individual spells are balanced against the spells in the regular game. Magic is a force to be reckoned with, but achieving the biggest impact is not easy: there are no free wins in Apocalypse.

Comfort
You want to be a mage because manual labour is beneath you? Then you definitely do not want to spend all of your time recasting buffs. Apocalypse provides spells to automate this process, and most Apocalypse buffs have unlimited duration and can be toggled on and off at will.

Immersion
You want to be a mage because you like well crafted fantasy worlds? Apocalypse meets your demands, blending in seamlessly with the regular game: the spells and scrolls are sold and dropped just like regular spells, and there are no "configuration powers" or clumsy activation procedures. For all intents and purposes, you are playing regular Skyrim except with many more spells.

Bling
You want to be a mage because you like big explosions? Version 3.0 features a major visual upgrade to most Apocalypse spells, featuring many custom graphics, sounds and inventory pictures. Illusion spells dazzle your enemies, and the most powerful destruction spells explode off your monitor.

----------
Where to get the spells
----------

1/ THE CLASSIC VENDORS: The books are sold by the usual spell vendors: Farengar, Sybille, Wylandriah and the other spell vendors in the towns of Skyrim sell novice and apprentice spells, as well as adept spells in their specialty domain. More powerful spells can be found at the College of Winterhold: each College trainer sells the spellbooks associated with their own school of magic.

2/ THE WANDERING VENDOR: In case another mod interferes with the scripts used to provide the classic vendors with spellbooks, you can also get the spell tomes at a new vendor, Kyrgar the Hidden at the Lady Stone. Once the community thorougly tests the scripts and no problems are found, this vendor will be removed.

3/ LOOT: The books and scrolls are available as random loot.

Remarks
- The selection of books you can buy depends on your skill level in each magic school. As in the regular game, master spells additionally require you to complete the corresponding quest at the College of Winterhold.
- You need to wait exactly 48 hours for the vendors to receive their new shipment of books.

Upgrade note
- If you used Apocalypse before version 3.0, you may still have the old vendors: Arealla, Thellon and the others. They do not disappear when the new version is installed, but will become nonfunctional as vendors.

----------
Compatibility
----------

Perks
The Apocalypse spells are compatible with vanilla perks and most modified perks in other mods. Modified perks that include hardcoded keywords or spell lists may not apply to Apocalypse spells.

Vendors
Version 3.0 and above use new scripts to improve compatibility with mods that modify vendor inventories. Should a conflict still occur somehow, use the backup vendor Kyrgar the Hidden, who is there for exactly this reason.

It's actually 200 terabytes.

If there is a bug with the kill() function, this is not really the fault of the mod. Try going to another area and dying again.

Is there anyway to fix this or am i screwed?btw my oldest file that is not funked up is back at level 10 and im level 18. Thank you for your time. also it has done this for my 3 other saves, it liked transfered like a virus so to speak.

is the mod size of this 20mb or 20gb?
NoodleDude May 12, 2013 @ 1:28pm
So if I uninstall, the spells will be removed, correct?
[GENT]Thefirestorm83 May 12, 2013 @ 1:06pm
very nice feature adding some of the spells removed after oblivion (e.g. ghostwalk) so that you dont have to wait till you're at level 75 to use things like paralyze
Enai Siaion  [author] May 12, 2013 @ 8:13am
That's Almalexia's Regalia, based on the Morrowind armor:

what's the armour your character is wearing in the first few screenshots? it reminds me of vivecs armour, also where can you get it?
Enai Siaion  [author] May 12, 2013 @ 2:52am
Those other spell mods did remove the spells, but some of the scripts they used got stuck in your savegame. That's not a mod feature, but a Skyrim bug that only applies to very specific spells and it is not considered a good thing.
