GURGAMOTH is on sale now!
GREENLIT! Thank you all!
Thanks so much, everyone - Gurgamoth Lives was Greenlit!

We can't wait to get it live on Steam for you all to play. We've been putting the last few bits of polish on it to get ready for Steam, including adding updated music from Todeskurve.

Here's the gamplay music in it's original state https://soundcloud.com/todeskurve/bremsspurpiraten-hub-ribs

Again, thank you all, and be on the lookout for Gurgamoth Lives on sale in the near future!

- The Galvanic Team

Description
Release date: Early 2016

Gurgamoth Lives is a local multiplayer party game where you fly, dash, and sacrifice yourself to the elder god Gurgamoth!

In an arena of sacrificial spikes, you only have seconds to prove your worth. Dash and juke opposing cultists in a fast-paced brawl to the death! The last one standing gets the honor of awakening the devourer of worlds: GURGAMOTH

Gurgamoth Lives is a 2-4 player local competitive flying cultist sacrifice simulator. Gameplay is fast and furious, relying on quick reaction times, juking skills, and your will to serve ancient evil. If a round lasts longer than a few seconds, the spike-filled walls of the arena begin to close in. Welcome to the last glorious moments of your life!

  • Fast-paced, party brawl
  • Quick matches
  • Full controller support
  • Tight flying mechanics
  • Satisfy your elder god's craving for blood sacrifice!

Gurgamoth Lives is undergoing final development and polish and is on track for full launch in Q4, 2015. The game will support 2 to 4 USB controllers for intense local multiplayer matches vs. your friends and close enemies!

Played this on Critique Circle and it is awesome.

It would be nice to have a mode that you can play alone. I like to be able to enjoy the games I buy even if there is no one to play with. I survival mode with ranking would be cool.

Here is one idea for online:
Players can duel. Each cultist lives in its own ethereal world and can't touch the other world. But the monsters that one cultist kills are teleported to the other world to mess with the other player.

@GalvanicGames Sounds good to me, thanks for the reply! This definitely looks like a very fun little game with a lot of panache and polish, and I do plan to get it! :)

Use the local multiplayer tag if it doesn't have online multiplayer.

Screenshots are not in 16:9 ratio so they have borders

Happybandaid, we definitely don't have the same depth as Towerfall and our low price will reflect that. We'd love to have a large enough audience to keep pushing out new content though. There's a lot of direction we can take the mechanics and levels from here.
