Description
What does this Mod do

This Mod restricts your single Civilization V gaming session time.

So you won't be playing Civ5 for 12 hours straight anymore, which is bad for your health.

Your mother cares about you, and I do, too.

(Jokes aside you should really stand up and do some stretches often. Little moves make big difference to your health.)

How?

When the player plays the game for 1 hour, a notification will show up to warn the player to end the current gaming session in 5 turns. If the player continues to play after 5 turns, the empire will start to increase unhappiness.

Please see the images above for further information.

Options

The default "time limit" is 1 hour, and the default "buffered turn" is 5 turns. You can change these values by editing the variables.

Please see the images above for further information.

Notes

This Mod is compatible with old Civilization V saved games.

However, please always backup your important saved games before applying any mods.

I wish this came with a start timer button.
Like I could hit start timer at 10 PM and at midnight
Un-happyness would start going down.
That way I would not "One more turn" My self into a zombie at work the next morning.

Love the concept, and like how it's implemented. :) That said, I'm waaaaaay too weak-willed to actually use it, lol...

flags is right. You can choose to subscribe or not so it's not "restricing" anything, it's designed to help people not spend as much time in-game by giving them consequences in-game.

I think inahut has a point, but being free to do what you want doesn't equal those things being positive or good for you. This mod doesn't intend to restrict anything, to me. It instead makes us realize we play this game for too long at a time, and we could be doing better things with our time than that besides the health factors. To think that you could've changed the world in the time you've spent fiddling on Civ V is quite harrowing, to me.
