Description
Release date: Mid-2016

We have a small prototype of the game, so you can download it and play it if you are interested. It’s just a taste of the final game and does not represent the final quality of it, but we’re sure you’ll like it. I mean, it’s space robots throwing missiles at each other, what’s not to like?

Being a robot is hard, technology moves forward at a scary pace and soon becomes old and obsolete. The production of new baby robots it’s strictly controlled and it’s not enough for every Roboplanet. The annual Rugbot tournament is celebrated to decide who will adopt those Babybots.

Each Roboplanet send their best champions to compete in the tournament. The most determined, fierce and badass robots will face each other to be the ones who take the Babybots and help the prosperity of their planet.

The rules of Rugbot are simple: When a Babybot is released, the competing robots will fight each other to take them to their spaceship, which is situated in the other team’s field. If they do it with a touchdown they get 3 points, if they do it throwing it from a distance they get 1 point. The team with more points after 5 minutes win the match and the Babybots.

And yes, weapons are totally allowed.

The game will allow up to 4 players to play single matches online or locally. A tournament mode against AI will also be available. The gameplay is physics based and we aim to make it as chaotic and fun as we can.

We are Alberto and Javi from Jumptoplay (a very, very small indie studio) working as developers. The art is in charge of Álvaro Gamon and the music is from Daniel Pastor.

If you need further information please see our Kickstater campaing or please contact us at jumptoplay@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Cheers!

Voted Yes.
