The Forgotten City is the first mod in history to win a national Writers' Guild award with its script. It is a critically acclaimed expansion mod offering a unique 6 - 8 hour experience: a murder mystery investigation set in an ancient underground city. You'll need to solve it using your wits, and the ability to travel through time. It has a dark, non-linear story in which you'll interrogate suspects, explore the city and its many secrets, and navigate challenging moral dilemmas. It features multiple endings, an original orchestral score, and professionally voiced dialogue.

"The story here is, no doubt, the best of any Skyrim mod. It's so good, that it really reminds me of Blockbuster movies like Inception, Interstellar, and especially Edge of Tomorrow." MxR Mods

"Amazing... it's a super dynamic story... how the mod utilizes paradoxes and time loops is fantastic... one of the most thriling quests we've ever played..." BroDual

“Undeniably impressive.” PC Gamer

“The production values, for a mod, are completely ridiculous. The Forgotten City is a pretty big deal.” Kotaku[]

Are you freakin' kidding me? With 1600+ hours in Skyrim, I am blown away by this mod. To say it exceeds the original in terms of storyline, dialogue, voice acting, depth, and complexity is an understatement. This long, deep, fascinating mod is the most fun I've had in Skyrim since completing the original game 10 years ago. Bravo!

When I first entered the Forgotten City, I thought "Well, this is boring...huge empty city with nothing to fight..." How wrong I was!

The only minor suggestion I would make is that it might help to add some sort of clue -- a journal or a corpse or something -- to the one jumping problem in the mod. Skyrim isn't big on jumping problems so when trying to get past the only real obstacle in the game, I searched for a lever or key or something for far too long. I had to Google a solution before I realized the answer was right in front of me...or above me.

Overall, an amazing mod that renewed my love of Skyrim.

Absolutely fantastic mod. I was hooked from start to finish. Make sure to find some of the different endings it has in store.
This is a great mod, you'd probably think it was a part of vanilla skyrim.

P.S. I like Dooley the best.

This was really great exprience for me. I enjoyed from every single second. I fall in love the backgrounds of the citizens espically. All of them well designed. The main idea&story&quest is brilliant. Atmosphere, architecture, dialogues; simply everything is perfect. Probably this is the best mode ever made.

I couldn't believe what I saw in this mod. The entire thing is beautiful and well-crafted. This is one of the most impressive and incredible things I have ever had the honor of playing; it totally blew me away. This is the best mod I have by a landslide.
