Description
Release date: December 2015
WHAT'S KRAKEN?

On the giant squid of life, you are but a tentacle. Splash around with two unwieldy appendages as you bash, slap, grab, and squirt in a clumsy attempt to protect the head. In the style of Brothers and The Splits, each tentacle is controlled by a different hand. Team up with friends to defend the head before it's destroyed!

INKCREDIBLE GAMEPLAY

* Three different game modes: waves, endless, and last man standing
* Plenty of levels to add a new challenge
* Global scoreboard
* Boss fights, harpoons, and cannons
* Eyebrows on a squid

I think I could see this working well for 4 player multiplayer.

I love how people take free to play games, put them on greenlight then ask for money and MAYBE add a little bit of extra features.

Nope

Heyo! Just wanted to jump in and hopefully answer a few questions:

1) We're targeting around $3. The free version of the game is available RIGHT NOW at http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-33/?action=preview&uid=54947. Since the free version, we've been adding polish, levels, modes, new mechanics, etc. Basically, things we couldn't do in 48 hours.

2) Yes, this was a Ludum Dare game originally!

3) The 2 reasons we're not targeting mobile right now, primarily, are controls and multiplayer. This game is all about splitting your focus between tentacles - each tentacle is controlled by a different joystick (or WASD/IJKL). Like Octodad, or QWOP, or Brothers, this difficulty is the main game mechanic. And, this is a party game!

To get a sense of both of these things, download the free Ludum Dare Version and try it out. Hopefully you'll see why we're going for Steam first!

I'll keep dropping by to try to answer questions about the game =D

I'd play it free, wouldn't pay for this.

As a free of charge game, maybe, but as a paid game, this game is below the expectations of Steam customers. Therefore I vote no, if it becomes free of charge let me know and I'll reconsider.

Ok, the idea is nice and fun, but seeing so many ships all together is just a big NO.
