Massive Update: Development Sneak Peeks, New Coverage & Development Streams!
Development Update

The team has been working like madmen to develop new content for Deliver Us The Moon. We have tweaked the game on several aspects and we hope you like them! We can't spoil everything for you guys of course, but below you can find the most interesting ones.

New Ase Model
We have implemented a new upgraded model for your lovely companion ASE. The new model stays in sync with the previous, but allows more personal interaction due to better model characteristic. We also tweaked how he accompanies you while you both explore the moon. You can also see a small sneak peek on his new idle and other interactions. In this way we believe that you will be able to make a far better bond with ASE.

We've heard the voice of the people and have listened to your wishes! It became clear quite soon that our players have a huge urge for all the possibilities of a more interactive world of DUTM. Above you can see a small set of examples that we have in the works for you to bring your adventure to life.

New Moon Surface
You probably thought that the moon was already cool as it is, but think again! We fully upgraded the surface of the moon and overhauled the graphics from scratch! This version of the lunar surface also allows the use of better tessellation and other graphical options to give you that immersive look and feel. You can also see additional content on the new action-packed lunar car that you will have at your disposal during DUTM.

Above you see a sneak-peek for the Latin American Base. In Deliver Us The Moon the Latin Americans traveled to the moon to conduct research focused on the wonders of terraforming. When you begin on your adventure to the moon though, you will discover the base to be deserted for quite some time. Who knows who or what you will encounter in a terraforming facility left alone on the moon for so many years?

We also started our weekly game development livestream on Twitch! The development dedicated streams will be hosted every Tuesday starting @7PM (GMT+1). You can check out the stream by clicking on the image below!

All of this new stuff couldn’t have been done without our new juiced up PC’s!

The New Legion of PC’s!

Oh yeah! With the success of the Kickstarter and the PayPal campaigns, we were finally able to invest into new, much needed, hardware to help keep us developing Deliver Us The Moon. Our old systems were so outdated and simply worn-out, that our dev team would literally be staring at their screens waiting for the various loading screen to progress for hours. But now we have been able to get our hands on new systems that should last for a couple of years of development. You have no idea how loud our nerdy screams of joy were when the components of the new PC’s arrived! We also made a time-lapse VLOG when we were putting these new beasts together. Check it out below!

Building Our New Dev Computers!

Out with the old!

In with the new!

Exploring Publishing Opportunities

The whole team has been discussing the option of possibly teaming up with a publisher for a while now. As an Independent Developer it is always very tricky to get enough coverage and reach out to the right people with all the known constraints we face. We want to let everyone know that we are still looking for a publisher to team up with KeokeN Interactive. On a side note, we are already talking to several publishers like Microsoft, Bandai-Namco and Square Enix about a possible publishing partnership. We're really looking forward to see what could come from these discussions :)

Exhibiting New Conferences

While our dev team are working their butts off to get episode 1 ready for release, we also were able to send various colleagues to a LOT of conferences! We were even selected as one of the final nominees for best Indie single player game of 2016 at SXSW! Furthermore, we were also live on the Twitch Indie mega booth stage at PAX East! Check out the VLOG videos below for all the details!

Hey johncage, We are not sure about this yet. Currently we are developing the single player as we intended and modding would be something that is on the long run. First we need to get the game released!

Hey Cypher Vorthos,
We are currently in talks with publishers. Our aim is 2017 but we do not have an exact date yet! But as soon as possible ofcourse!

Hey TECH 52,
We've been busy with our Kickstarter orders & events, currently we are in heavy development to finish the game for release! Also we are having some role changes in the company to get everything done a little faster :)
johncage Sep 4 @ 10:51am
there's not a lot of good realistic third person space games. will your game allow modding, so we can further create further content along those lines? i am thinking of adding different settings, mars, asteroids, space stations, etc.
Cypher Vorthos Aug 24 @ 4:56pm
Any idea of release date?
