How to use zombie skins
By El Diver
I'll upload the guide with the real fix, with Ambiant Occlusion, but you can use this temporary fix if you don't mind loosing the AO.

What we're going to do: add the zombie misc to a zombie player and fix the transparence effect by adding $mostlyopaque in the vmf's. But Zappy told me that using $Ambiantocclusion 0 was better, so I'll edit this guide when I have the time.
What we're going to use: SFM, a text editor (Notepad++ or Notepad)

The zombie skin and cosmetic
The first thing you need to do is importing the player model, not the HWM. To find it, type "player\scout" (or whatever class you want).

Then you need to add the zombie cosmetic to your model by right clicking on it, selecting "Add Team Fortress Items"

Then type "vo" and select "Voodoo-Cursed [Your class] Soul".

The lock next to the item means that it's locked with the player model, so if you move the player, the item will follow.
As you can see, the voodo item does not fit your player, so you have to change it's skin with the zombie one. Just right cick on your player model, go to "Set Skin" and select the 4 (red) or 5 (blue) (22 and 23 for the spy).

Now here's the second problem: the scout is now transparent and we see the background through him.
Fixing the transparent skin
This is not very hard, but follow closely what I'm doing.

First, save and close SFM (not just the project, but SFM!).
Then go to
[Steam Directory]\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf\materials\models\player .

If you are scared to break something, just copy all the folders to somewhere safe.

Go in the folder of your class and search for "[Your Class]_red_zombie_alphatest.vmt"

Then right click on it, go to properies then at "open with", click on modify and select notepad++ if you have it (I highly recommend it!), or notepad.
Now when you will see a .vmt, just double click to open it. So open "[Your class]_red_zombie_alphatest.vmt" and write $mostlyopaque as shown below:

Save your file and launch SFM. Reopen your project and tadaa! If you did it right, Your player model should be solid!

  • For the blue textures, do the same thing but with "[Your class]_blue_zombie_alphatest.vmt".
  • For the sniper, you have to also add $mostlyopaque to the "sniper_head_zombie_alphatest.vmt".
  • For the spy, you have to also add $mostlyopaque to the "spy_head_red_zombie_alphatest.vmt" or "spy_head_blue_zombie_alphatest.vmt".
  • For the heavy, you have to also add $mostlyopaque to the "heavy_red_zombie_alphatest_sheen.vmt".

Conclusion
I hope this guide helped you, if not, leave a comment!
I found the fix in this video, and I decided to make a guide to explain it clearly.

Tell me if there's any errors or if you don't understand something!

I think I know the underlying problem. It's directly modeled onto the Spy itself, so the face isn't cut out properly because it's not gotten rid of during the modeling process.

This is most intriguing, Spy seems to have his face skin, likely as a holdover from having his face remain intact before it became just his skull.

The zombie Spy's head still looks like the Alpha one, though. Is there a way to fix it? I've did everything in this guide.
