If u bored of simple Payday 2, u can try to play with some changes. Before trying this, make sure u know 90% heists, where and wich things r placed cuz u will never find a flare-spot if u playing first on Casino*For example*

For what each mod was made?
BLT - Its a lua hook which allows to use BLT mods.
GoonMod - It allows to use "mutators", which will make difficulties for you and helps to turn off the hud functions.
DMCWO - This mod will rebalance ALL of your weapons to more realistic.
Project Canary - Better Bain's voicelines and character interactions with each other.
Armor Overhaul - Adds more armor types and changes how armor works.

Description

If you are being 25-100 pubstar with 1-2k hours, being the best player in the team? Now, your gameplay experience will change. Your armor wont regenerate for 3 seconds and you are ready to fight again, now it will regenerate gradually.If someone shot you while regenerating armor, you will have to fight with that regained. Weapons will have a difference. Thanks to DMCWO, it wont be like "40 dmg" for car and its maximum. Or 18 damage for AMCAR. Thats not realistic, isnt it? The lack of HUD will make you a bit disoriented. You can go for 1v1 with bulldozer like xXx_D4LL4$$_xXx thinking that you have a full mag. Or it wont be, and you will be saying your coordinates.

I suggest restrictions in skill builds.

PS.Of course you can change it a little bit, but dont use OP things like Inspire.

2)More difficult way to play in my opinion is try to be one of characters.
Take Hoxton, Dallas, Wolf, Chains and use their perk decks. (Hoxton - Crook, Dallas - Crew Chief, Wolf - Armorer, Chains - Muscle).

Armor for every player should be LBV aka Lightweight Ballistic Vest.
Also you can limit your weapon choice and make unique for every character:
Dallas:

Assault rifles, wich can be used in different situations.

Chains:

3 types of shotguns, pomp action, semi-automatic, automatic and 2 LMGs.

Wolf:

Some Battle-rifles and 2 Sniper rifles. Remember, you dont have unlimited ammo so make sure ur bullet will kill your enemy.

Hoxton:

2 akimbo's on ur choice, and 3 assault rifles. *I'm not sure 'bout Car-4, maybe u can find smthg other for urself and change it.*
P.S. Playing with akimbo a bit harder cuz of DMCWO.

Secondaries:
Dallas - Bronco revolver, Wolf - MP5, Chains - Locomotive, Hoxton - Stryk.

I think there is some people bought this game to play with their friends, tried to split everyone and take unique roles .But, after playing more than 100 hours, you will understand, that's not very helpfull and there is enough 2 roles to complete almost all the heists.

Mod installation

Installing mods.
Im sure that someone cant install any mods.
1)The first of all, you must install BLT.
Extract everything from archive "Payday-2-BLT-Master" to your Payday 2 folder.
2)Installing GoonMod and customization.
Open archive "GoonMod-Master.zip", open folder "goonMod-master" and extract them into "mods" folder at your PAYDAY2 folder.
Then, start up the game. Go to Options, then "Mod Options","GoonMod" and turn on "Force load mods". Restart your game. Go to Options, Mod Options, GoonMod and then click on "Modifications". Turn on "Mutators". Restart your game again.
3)Installing DMCWO.
Open "DMCWO-BLT-Version.zip", then extract everything folder "DMCWO-BLT-Version" to your "mods" folder at your PAYDAY2 folder.
4)Installing Project Canary.
Open "12378_PROJECT_Canary" and extract CANARY folder to "mods".
PS. 12378 means version of the mod.
5)Installing Armor Overhaul.
WARNING.If you will be using club sanvich edition and you will use NON-BLT one, this might mess up all of the mods.
Open archive "lekousin-s-Armor-Overhaul-master", then open folder ""lekousin-s-Armor-Overhaul-master", go to "BLT Hook", "mods" and drag "ArmorOverhaul" to your "mods" folder at your PAYDAY 2 folder.

So, do you know how to start playing with all of these mods?
Get a lobby with your friends, the host is choosing tab "Mutators" and turning on "Realism mode","Rationing".
Start the game.In Loadout, everyone is going to "Options","Graphics" and turning off Player-Hud.

Still believe that Chains should get ICTV / Saw, Wolf should get Bulletproof / Shockproof, Dallas should get pistol skills (not including Gunslinger Aced or Pistol Messiah if you're going for "realism") / Kilmer, and Hoxton... Honestly don't know about him. Same with other characters and their perk decks / related skills.

Other than that, interesting (yet not too original TBH) take on a "realism" gamemode.

You know who is the strongest? HOXTON. Because his perkdeck was ORIGINALLY DESIGNED to be used with LBW.

But if you have a few friends that would rather ONLY play together then I guess you can do whatever you want :3
