1.What Is CS:GO Console

The console or what is known as the developers console is a text-based input/output interface to execute commands or change global settings fast and easy via some specific written commands in a game.Counter Strike:Global Offensive game has one.The developer console is host to a vast variety of commands where many of these commands have prefixes that offer a hint as to what they do or deal with. You can tune your game when ever you want and as you want with this console. There are many things that you can configure yourself in csgo through this console which you cannot do just by going to the settings options. You can also set things in a more detailed way in console then using the normal settings option and as said before it is the faster way too.The console isn't turned on by default you have to manually switch it on from the settings menu.
2.How To Turn On Console

1.Launch Steam and start the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game
2.From the main menu on the top bar from the right select Help & Options
3.Select the Game Settings menu item from Help & Options
4.Click the arrow next to Enable Developer Console (~) so that it says Yes
5.Click Back
6.Now press the ~ button(on the left side of your keyboard below Esc above Tab and on the left of 1)
7.The grey box that appears with a close 'x' and a submit button with a text input space is your games console.
3.Usefull Binds

1# Binding buys

You can set up your entire store on different keys for all the major purchases, very easily. You can use your Function keys or numberpad keys or even the Home row keys. You'll have to go slightly above typing in console commands to set this up perfectly, but it helps immensely with buying (might not matter too much if you just buy whenever and play mostly casually, but sometimes due to team discussion we end up not deciding on what to buy until there's just a few seconds of buy time left).
To make something like this is pretty simple. Just add the commands into your config.cfg file, located in your csgo/cfg folder. You could make an arbitrary file first and then just copy paste it into it to make it neater if you'd like.

2# cl_radar_scale 0.4 + cl_radar_always_centered 0

Using cl_radar_scale (enter value from 0-1) you can zoom out and in your minimap. cl_radar_always_centered 0 this command fixes your minimap to the center. So quite simply this command makes the the rader to show the full minimap having you as fixed as it's center. I recommend 0.4 as radar scale if you go lower then 0.4 the map gets so small because of zooming out too much that it's hard to see.

3# bind "v" "use weapon_knife; use weapon_flashbang" or _hegreande or _smokegrenade

Did you know that you can throw grenades faster if you have a knife out? Not joking. The tricky part to this one is that you'll now have to have separate binds for all of your different nades, instead of tapping your 4 key a variable amount of times.
4.Overwatch Commands

Here are some usefull commands which can be used while overwatching. If you are a part of overwatch and you want to help the CS:GO community by doing your part of the job more accurately this commands will help you while watching a demo to inspect it more properly.

demo_timescale for slow motion and fast forward. demo_timescale (.25 for quarter speed, 1 for full, 20 will super fast fowrard ect ...)

demoui or demoui2 = brings up demo control panel

sv_showimpacts 1 = shows where bullets are impacting

r_drawothermodels 2 = makes all players and any moveable objects wireframe

Shift + F2 = Brings up the demo control panel

spec_show_xray 1 = Turns on X-ray, 0 = off
5.Practise Commands
Feel like practicing your nade throws, flash step fire (peek-n-prefire), practise with bots etc. You probably could be doing it much more efficiently.

When you go and make your offline server, you should type these in :

sv_cheats 1 (Activates Cheats)
sv_grenade_trajectory 1 (Shows your nades travel path)
sv_infinite_ammo 1 (Gives infinite ammo)

Grenades

give weapon_smokegrenade (Gives you smoke)
give weapon_flashbang (Gives you flash)
give weapon_hegrenade (Gives you frag)
give weapon_molotov (Gives you molotov)
give weapon_[insert weapon/equipment name here] etc.

give weapon_decoy is actually really useful when practicing smokes, because they have the exact same trajectory/model/hitbox/whatever, except it doesnt leave a huge puff of smoke that you have to wait out

bind k noclip so you can follow them and see where exactly they land and how they effect visibility

Weapons

give weapon_awp (Gives you awp)
give weapon_ak (Gives you ak)
give weapon_p250 (Gives you p250)
[give weapon_[insert weapon/equipment name here] same as nades etc.

and if you want to practice wallbanging spots and angles, sv_showimpacts 1 along with give weapon_whatever

and if you're practicing that annoying jump that damages you if you fail, just type in "god" (without the quotations) to activate god mode for the server

Bots

bot_kick (kicks bot)
bot_add_ct (Adds bot at CT side)
bot_add_t (Adds bot at T side)
bot_dont_shoot 1 (Bots dosem't shoot)
bot_quota 10 (Bot quota)

Map

map de_dust2
map de_inferno
map de_nuke
map de_train etc. (just replace the map name in the command to change to a map)

Server Commands

If your at your own private server with friends or having a go at LAN or playing offline with bots these will come in handy

mp_limitteams 30 (Limits the number of player on a team)
disconnect (Fast DC from server)
mp_infinite_ammo 1 (Gives infinite ammo)
mp_autoteambalance 0 (Auto balances team)
mp_freezetime 0 (Pauses or infinity freezetime)
:)
