I went to the official website and tried to download the patch with a mod installer. But no matter what I did, the download always failed. I've tried several times and at this point I don't know what to do. It keeps saying that the game might be not be updated or something like that, but I just recently got the game. It should be completely updated. What should I do?

If you just dislike the voices but enjoy the graphics, you can press LShift + N to mute the voices. To restore it, press LShift + M. If you want to remove the whole patch, delete the HigurashiEp*_Data folder and use Steam to verify the game files.

I don't like the voices. How do I remove the patch?
