Progress Report
We have been hit with the green spot light.
Release date: TBD
A space station crew in distress has turned to an out-of-date robot to help protect them from a shipment of AI bots. Beep Boop Bot (BBB) boots up and does all it can to fulfill its duties in hopes to save the crew of the Evocati space station. The action packed casual shooter aims to deliver fun, with multiple upgrades and bosses to beat.

BBB has basic weaponry when the game begins. It must shoot its way through a myriad of enemies while picking up temporary weapon boosts dropped by the AI. Flamethrowers, EMPs, rockets and turbo boosts are some of the upgrades available. At the end of each level, BBB learns new skills through permanent modifications from the defeated bosses and becomes a more valuable ally in the war. There are currently 3 stages in the demo with a total of 12 stages available once the game is complete.

Psycho Robot Studios put out a call to players to get involved with their production through their Facebook page. They have implemented many ideas such as destructible spawns to the upgrades they will receive from the bosses. Music from fans and ideas turned into objects and enemies in the game have also been implemented.

Follow Psycho Robot Studios on Twitter and Facebook for more information and screenshots. The current demo can be downloaded directly from their Facebook page.

Thanks for letting me do a video on this. The gameplay is good. Has an old school NES feel to it. I really like the sounds, as you can tell from my video! Have a look!

Looks cool. I can't help but feel it needs some kind of multiplayer or level 'create and share' feature where others can play player created levels. Just a thought but defo looks great!

We do, you can download a 3 level demo off of our twitter or facebook page. Be warned though, the footage above and demo are about 6 months old and doesnt represent where the game is today. We used it to get feedback and make changes. We are anxious to get out the next demo but we do not want to rush it being as we are hoping that it will be a representation of the final product.
