The mobile version was released to almost entirely 5 star reviews. The desktop version will ramp up the detail levels, improve the user interface and pave the way for possible mods and editing tools.

Quotes from players of the mobile version:

‘I'm utterly charmed. Having the same maps for both combat and exploration = spacious battles. Destructible, interactive terrain; nice camera and beautiful graphics. I'm having more fun with this, right now, than w/ Legend Of Grimrock.‘

‘Last night I eluded my opponent's guards by riding a Pegasus over the moat, then blew the roof off his castle and summoned a zombie inside his castle. Then I staged a frontal assault while the zombie (which had auto-resurrected after being killed by guards) released a bunch of neutral monsters inside his castle to attack his guards from behind. It was the coolest thing I've ever done in a tactical RPG, and I can't wait to try the same level with a different strategy.’

Quotes from Touch Arcade:

‘The Last Warlock is a fantastic bit of medicine for anyone who has grown a little weary of the norm in this genre, and a breath of fresh air even if you haven't.‘
'If you've got any love for strategy RPGs, you shouldn't let this one pass you by.' - 4½ out of 5

FAQ

Why is it called The Last Warlock?
You find out at the end of the game!
The Warlocks were god-like beings banished to the mortal realm. A new discovery leads to war between them, and although the title implies you are battling to become the last warlock, there is a twist to the story...

Is this a Minecraft type game?
No, it’s a turn based strategy game and so does not play like Minecraft. The environment can be modified by certain spells and events, but it is not a building game.

What are the games influences?
The original X-Com and the 1990 game ‘Lords of Chaos’. These were turn based strategy games that allowed the player a great deal of freedom to experiment and explore - something missing from many modern strategy games.
Also games like Legend of Grimrock and the 90’s equivalent Eye of the Beholder & Captive were influences on the puzzles and group dynamics of the gameplay.
Many people have also compared the game to Fire Emblem although that was not an influence during development.

Is this a mobile game port?
Mobile was released first (and has over 95% 5 star ratings from players), but the PC version was developed at the same time. They are designed to be compatible with each other (cross platform multiplayer). The user interface is different on the PC to make it work better with mouse/keyboard play, and the graphical detail is being increased.

Will there be more quests added?
More quests and a level editor is a definite possibility for the near future, depending on player demand.

Bonjour /soir

Good morning / evening
Personally I would not take this game ... but I voted YES simply that this game is very good for children ... ( without wanting to insult anyone ) rich in color and does not break up ... demand a machine with little performance which is an asset ... Congratulations and good continuity sorry Translated by Google
