This scenario shows new players how to set up and start a game that they can then choose to finish anyway they like. It is based on exploiting an advantage which is the basis for winning any strategy game. Estimated game time is around 2 to 3 hours. Players with some experience can use this scenario to try out the harder AI and larger maps

If the astreroides near your planet are within your sphere of influence you "just" need 500 credits to build a mine on them, no need for a starbase. You only need a starbase for mining resources and atrifakts, although it doesn't harm to have an economy starbase near your shipbuilding aka industrial planets, but plan wisely, with the new update the number of bases you can build is limited...

How do you mine the astrodes that are next to your planet .. before you just sent a miner to them .. now it seems you build a star base ?? but I dont see how or which one to build to get the production from them ..

What are the "default" settings? Those settings went wrong because of mouse scrolling, and now I can't find out the default.

It was patched out of the game in 1.4 Karadoc. You can still turn it on inside the Prefs.ini somewhere

There is a point I dont get. How do you manage your production for each Planet ? I need Labor building to do that in my games :/

As for customizing the colony ship to decrease its build time; while a good idea it is not necessary for this senerio. As for not making it totally clear that you should have a que of colony ships; I agree. that is correct. I will come back to this and edit that in "Thanks"

* Would you suggest designing a custom Colony Ships with just one Colony module to make it even faster to build?
* I assume that we are supposed to build our first Colony Ship during "Gameplay 2", but I can't see it mentioned anywhere except during "Gameplay 3" when you mention that we should be prompted about the "Put 2.5 million colonists on your ship". Is that correct? That we should start building our first (second after the free one) Colony Ship on turn 1?

Other than that, excellent guide, thanks alot for making the approach to the game a little easier.
