Exception is a new action platformer set in a computer infested with malware. Your goal is to free the computer's operating system from an evil regime bent on total destruction.

Exception brings a new approach to the standard platformer game by transforming levels as the player progresses. Entire levels twist, flip and rotate to create new challenges for the player. Battle against a range of ground and air based enemies while avoiding fast moving obstacles.

The game's controls have been carefully refined to offer responsive, precise movement without burdening the player with needless complexity. The result is a title that's just as easy to pick up and play on day one as it is years later.

This game looks outstanding, I haven't seen any platformers before like it. It runs fluently and smooth and the gameplay looks great. I'm not a fan of platformers but this one has made me change my mind, it is very special among others and seems very fun and action-packed. Great work so far, good luck!

@Haste thanks for the feedback - I don't have a 144Hz monitor to test on right now, but I know from a performance standpoint the current builds average ~300 fps on my old ATI 6870 at 1920x1200. A lot of effort has been put into using efficient geometry and eliminating unnecessary work for the GPU. I'm optimistic the final build will run really well.

@TraxmasterSoftware Please make sure it runs perfectly smooth on 144Hz monitors. And you have a sure buy from me. The gameplay looks so fun! I can't wait to play it!

It reminds me so much of the fast paced movement you could get in the game soldat if you played in climbing servers! I'm super hyped!
