A guide to XP required of each level and the scaling of number of players and difficulty.

Experience points table
As each level progresses the required amount of XP to the next increases, this makes the earlier levels quicker. Harder difficulties reward more XP, this way slightly compensating the increasing XP requirement.

* XP rewarded for your on-class weapons.
* Killing with other class weapons allocates XP to that class.
* Damaging with off/on-class weapon then finishing it off with another devides the XP and allocates it to both classes.
* Assist kills reward full XP (An assist kill is defined where you inflicted damage to the Zed but where someone else kills it).
* Katana and Flamethrower does not reward XP as the associated classes are not yet in the game.

**Shove attack does not count as melee (zerk xp), meaning it allocates the XP accordingly to your weapon class.

Normal - Waves
"Normal" is the first out of the four difficulties currently available and the easiest.
This is the only difficulty where players receive more trader time (15 additional seconds).
Zeds have less health, deal less damage, and have decreased movement speeds.
Players receive an additional 10% bounty for killing Zeds and ammo boxes and Weapons are frequently encountered throughout the map.

The number of Zeds change depending on how many alive players there are when the wave starts.

Hard - Waves
"Hard" is the second out of the four difficulties currently available.
Trader time is now set to 60 seconds (same as Suicidal and Hell on Earth).
Zeds now have more health, deal slightly more damage and are more likely to sprint compared to Normal.
Players no longer receive bonus bounty for killing Zeds.
Ammo boxes and Weapons are now slightly less frequently encountered throughout the map.

(Hard is the one difficulty that has scaling set to default, suggesting Hard is the true Normal difficulty)

Hell on Earth - Waves
"Hell on Earth" is the last out of the four difficulties currently available and so far the most difficult.
Trader time is set to 60 seconds.
Zeds have a slight health increase (except for Clots, Crawlers, Gorefasts, Stalkers and Bloats).
The damage Zeds deal is increased, and now mostly sprint at player.
Bounty for killing Zeds is lower than that on Suicidal or below.
Self inflicted damage (splash damage) is now considerably more noticeable as there is no decrease in the damage. Unlike previous difficulties which scaled down the damage, the scaling is now set to 100%, meaning the player will receive full damage from their own explosions.
Certain Zeds have a tendency to dodge, roll, or perform other animations that usually messes with player's aim when up close.
The Ammo boxes and Weapons that spawn throughout the map are now more rarely encountered, but not to a degree where they are extremely difficult to find.

* Hans' head does have own health value (2147483647) and remains static (player amount does not affect it). However, while the health is massive, trying to decapitate it might be possible but would require extreme effort.

Good guide, however, in the "Bonus XP / Class-related" you forgot to add the demolitionists bonus XP for killing fleshpounds with perk weapons. It goes: 10/17/21/30
