Easy guide how to use Medieval Engineers ModSDK for exporting models
Please follow the below steps:

1. Download Havok's Content Tools for Game Artists and Designers version 2012.2.0 from hhttp://ttp://software.intel.com/sites/havok/en/ and install it.
2. Download additional Medieval Engineers ModSDK tools from Steam.
3. Read the Advanced 3D Models Guide how to correctly export models and collisions.
4. Note: Split planes and textures should be saved inside the game Content folder. i.e. Your default working folder for creating MODs is Content folder.
Example: X:\SteamGames\steamapps\common\MedievalEngineers\Content
5. Open ModelBuilder and build your selected(FBX) model with xml properties. (checker Export xml).
6. Edit your XML and set textures path like in this example:

7. Build again.
8. Open the DestructionTool and import (drag and drop) your built mwm to the ModelViewer card.
9. (Optional) You can turn on and show degenerated triangles and open boundaries.
10. Select your fracture algorithm (Random split or Voronoi)
11. Go to Fracture template card.
12. Mount Split plane (mwm only).
13. Set custom parameters.
14. Click the Fracture button to start fracture algorithm.
15. If everything looks good, click the Save button.

Link in step one is wrong. https://software.intel.com/sites/havok/en/ is probably the correct one.
