Mission
PMC Versus operators will seize enemy positions designated X-ray-One, X-ray-Two and X-ray-Three with the help of Dagger, Rawhide and Ghost.

Situation
August 9th, 2003: the NATO local high command (callsign Red Crown) has finally given the order to move south on the eastern flank. PMC Versus operators (callsign November) are to coordinate a combined operation to break through the СРГА lines. The terrain is particularly challenging for us in the AO: the operators must first move through a narrow pass to reach and seize the objectives (designated X-ray-One, X-ray-Two and X-ray-Three).

To move swifly through the pass, November has been given a M2A3 IFV and a M6A2 short air defence system at their disposal. Without a distinct order a fireteam of NATO infantry (callsign Dagger) will recon X-ray-One by force and hold position. After X-ray-One has been seized, the СРГА forces are at disadvange: the dried up river to the south will greatly hinder any reinforcements' movements to the AO.

Red Crown has also dispatched two M1A1 MBTs (callsign Rawhide) who will move in on November's command from the west and seize X-ray-Two, X-ray-Three and hold position. A single AH-64 attack helicopter (callsign Ghost) is also on standby and will provide air support on November's call. Red Crown stresses not to expose the helicopter to enemy AAA. This will be a major breakthrough in controlling Podagorsk.

Commission for this operation is 38,000 dollars.

Enemy
NATO scouts have reported that the three objectives have been fortified and infantry and alpha victors are present - strenght unknown. The most heavily fortified position is likely X-ray-Two with at least one enemy MBT and a SPAAG. Red Crown also believes the enemy to send in attack helicopters from the nearby base and the M6A2 will likely play a key part in the assault. After the first two objectives have been completed, Red Crown believes that X-ray-Three is easily captured since reinforcements are not likely to reach the site.

Red Crown also advices November to use Dagger's contribution to their advantage: the pass is the perfect spot for the enemy to defend or ambush and we do not want to be the Persians in Thermopylae.
