Installing IVAP 2 for IVAO on FSXSE

These are steps how to install IVAP 2 on FSXSE

1. 1. Download FSXRegUtility from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Registry-Tweak/FSX-Registry-Utility.shtml and run it to select the fsx.exe of your FSX: SE main directory
(on my system, windows vista 64bit, FSXRegUtility work using the windows xp sp2 compatibility mod)

2. Download and install the latest FSUIPC 4.938 : Pete's site[www.schiratti.com] (don't mind the page saying 4.937 - the zip is 4.938)

3. Download IvAp from IVAO website and install it and download the MTL's airplans.

4. Then, if "Start IVAP" didn't appears in the "add-on" menu of your simulator, do this:

- open the dll.xml located at C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE and add this lines between two "<Launch.Addon>":

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>IvAp</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:/Program Files (x86)/IVAO/IvAp v2/ivap_fsx_bootstrap.dll</Path>
<Commandline></Commandline>
</Launch.Addon>

Don't forget to make a backup of your original dll.xml before.
Veriy also the path: <Path>C:/Program Files (x86)/IVAO/IvAp v2/ivap_fsx_bootstrap.dll</Path>, It could bee different in yours systems.

- Then re-index your MTLs

If you don't see the other traffic, make sure you have this line on the [MAIN] section in the FSX_SE.CFG

have you turn off the shadow option? somehow the shadow didn't work with the IVAO MTL.

I actually did all of this and IVAP is working, but I cannot see the MTL (IVAO) traffic even when I can see it on my TCAS. After reviewing and debugging, I found on my "Ivap_bootstrap.log" the following: TrafficHack: FSX version not supported: 10.0.62615.0 (FSX.20150710-1055)

Is there a walkaround for this?

Have you downloaded IVAP v2 from the ivao site ? I'm running no problems.

Despite your good advices my FSX-SE won't boot. At the launch it says that the addon could cause troubles and when I choose to run it anyway, FSX just closes down. :/
