Description
Release date: APRIL 2015
A sci-fi game of tactical squadron combat fused with advanced space maneuvers.
Evolution in Real Time Tactics
This game presents an innovation in 2D action games; we introduce the ability to radically manipulate tactical maneuvers in real time. The game engine delivers a Fleet Codex, a real-time editing tool that allows you to create, experiment and design unique combat maneuvers.
In essence, the Fleet Codex is a football playbook for squadron formations. Our games philosophy focuses on free-form combat and player driven experimentation. Our arcade edition features our complete Fleet Codex and shows a new horizon for player-created combat actions.

FleetCOMM is just the start, ROGUE☆GAMES will continue to develop this style of combat maneuvering in other game genres (particularly, 2D shooters, RTS and MOBA).

All videos on this page recommended at 720p at 60 frames-per-second. Please check youtube video settings to enable this feature.

GAMEPLAY SYNOPSIS
ARCADE EDITION

Our first iteration is FleetCOMM is the Arcade Edition. Featured through our demo is the core combat system. The Arcade Edition is similar to Star Control 2's Super Melee, with our own improvements. Players set up their squadron, design squadron maneuvers, and engage a series of procedurally generated assault missions.
OPERATION VIGRIOR (Story Mode)

Operation Vigrior will be an interstellar war operating in real time. The player is given one squadron and must fight off the Viral Legion as they unleash continuous waves of invaders the Vigrior sector.

  • Search and Destroy
Your squadron is tasked with destroying all enemies in a particular region of space.
  • Civilian Defense
Your squadron must protect a "VIP" civilian vessel until the ship reaches a warp gate to escape.
  • Recon Ambush
Your squadron assumes cloaking formations and must sneak through enemy squadrons to assassinate a viral swarm leader.
  • Boss Squadron
You will meet a viral enemy squadron that's tougher than the usual breed.
  • Planetary Defense
During the course of each mission, you will be able to upgrade planetary defenses and space station defense points, depending on successfully executed missions.
  • Exterminatus
As the commander, you can call in weapons of mass destruction to completely annihilate infected locations. This comes at the cost of killing civilians and/or losing defensive structures.
  • In war, there is no "respawn". Once you lose all your ships, the war is lost. Game Over man, Game Over.
  • Operation Vigrior is designed to be a 2~3 hour experience. A balance of adrenaline-pumping combat and suspense driven war fighting.

THE FLEETCOMM ARSENAL
FleetCOMM vessels encompass all military space combat disciplines; the Artillery, the Recon, and the Vanguard. FleetCOMM ships are also driven by A.I., due to the environmental stress of deep space, as well as the risk of viral pathogens infecting human pilots.
FleetCOMM vessels are designed as a Drone Squadron; these drones are capable of performing combat feats that are impossible with human pilots.
Combat synchronization and space navigation are driven through the Galactic Ansible Network, all while providing minimal risk of spreading the Viral Legion and making FleetCOMM Commanders operate from anywhere in the Galactic milieu.
I.A.D THOR, Interstellar Artillery Dreadnaught
THOR class drones have a powerful beam weapon able to pierce viral flesh. This beam weapon can be recharged over time. The THOR also carries a missile battery, capable of launching salvos at multiple viral legion targets.
V.S.C HEIMDALL, Vanguard Siege Cruiser
HEIMDALL class drones are equipped with a graviton shield and a rapid fire railgun. The shield is can deflect incoming projectiles and enemy energy weapons. The railgun has a limited range, but has far more damage then the THOR beam weapon.
D.S.R LOKI, Deep Space Recon
LOKI class drones are equipped with a cloaking device and a field disruptor. Cloaking fields allow you to hide from viral sensors. Cloaking fields are depleted when ship boosters are active, and are recharged by the LOKI over time. The field disruptor blasts all enemies within range, and can be overloaded over time to maximize its kill radius.

@Skoardy : thanks dude, already reported, and seems the DMCA takedown notice is shown as well.

Your game has become the latest to be used as a method for conning people into downloading malware in the Greenlight Concepts section. Some scumbag has copy/pasted your details/screenshots and is using them to fool people into downloading a fake demo (which will naturally turn out to be something nasty).

I recommend you contact Valve to try and have the page (and the user) removed.

@letsmaybeLP92 (GAME ON!)

>where is the greenlight page for arcade edition though? (or is both coming to steam through this greenlit campaign?

You are looking at that page now.

The plan is to release FleetCOMM Arcade Edition and Operation Vigrior on launch day. Going to work with Valve on how to release (operation vigrior might be a DLC, or standalone game on its own which includes Arcade Edition in its build)

@letsmaybeLP92 (GAME ON!)

I didn't see this reply so responding now.

The groupees deal includes a Steam key, not really complicated. Those keys will be given out once we ship on Steam.

This looks fun.

Hexcellion :

The arcade edition is the complete battle system, Operation Vigrior will be in campaign mode (about 2-3 hours in a story line driven setting)

The plan is to release this game with both Arcade Edition and Operation Vigrior on Steam, we still have to work with Valve to finalize those details (might be "DLC" for the Operation Vigrior).

What's the difference between this and the arcade edition? I think I got this from the Groupees BAGB and I'm not sure where the game's greenlight page is. Is this game the arcade edition? Thanks in advance for replying.
