--------------------------------------------------------

Grimslingers is a strategic card game set in a sci-fi fantasy western for 2-4 players. Players use a set of basic spells, their wits, and the right amount of luck to overcome their opponents. A selection of unique signature spells add variance to player's hands, and allow them to construct new strategies each game.

Players face off one-on-one, in teams, or in a free-for-all, using spells and a unique dueling system to gain dominance over their rivals. Careful planning, resource management, and luck all come in to play for this easy-to-learn yet deep and competitive game.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Grimslingers is being developed as a physical card game as well as a mobile app for iOs and Android.

Malmine: As a paid DLC perhaps. Greenbrier Games owns the rights to it now so I can't do anything without their permission.

BUT, you're free to add me on steam and play the Tall Tales section with me :D Friends are welcome.

will the tall tales portion be uploaded in the future?

@gr-Darkwolf: Hey! Glad you liked it. It's actually been a VERY long time since I updated the game and a lot has changed.

I just uploaded the official release (what is going to be available in retail).

1. You cannot go above the HP/EP listed on your archetype card.
2. The Daemon ability has changed, so the question is no longer relevant.

Lots of the changes were also made to make the game work in co-op campaign mode (which isn't available on steam for now!).

CAn deamon ability be used any time? such as after seeing the results of a face off?

first, great game despite the fact i won 1 out of 9 games. on archetypes there is the HP and EP values you start with. are these maximum values or can you exceed them?

@Butler Boots: I'm not sure where you're seeing these things. If you load up the current workshop version of Grimslingers, there is a link to a PDF. No where in that PDF does it mention take cover (not that I can find). Some of the graphics in the rule document are dated but it's updated everywhere it counts.

Right now there are no backs to the character cards, but the the actual backs have nothing to do with gameplay.

Feel free to PM me if you want to sort this out, especially if you want to go a round or two in Grimslingers :P

.. But I did read the rulebook. It was a link to the pdf, right? Or have I been reading the wrong rules?
Grimslinger  [author] Jan 4, 2016 @ 9:16am
@Butler Boots: Ah, right. I'm in the process of updating the game. Though, if you read the rulebook listed, it has all the neccessary updates needed to understand how the game is played.

I just haven't updated the preview images here.
