A New Milestone!
Description
Release date: 2015/2016
Blood Bank Gameplay Summary (FPS/TPS): Make money by playing
Blood Bank aims to be the first video game where players can make money in game and then withdraw it for use in real life. We have designed a mutual credit system that will allow skilled players to profit off their initial credit buy in, and have tons of fun while doing so!

Blood Bank will be a FPS (first-person shooter) game with minor RPG (role playing game) elements such as limited edition weapons and armors, trading, item drops, and much more! Players also have the added choice to play in third-person mode with a press of a button.

How it works: First, you purchase an amount of credits, let's say $ 1.00, which is equivalent to 1,000 credits.

Then you pick a server, map, and tier. There will be many different tiers of competitive play. These tiers shall range from 1 cent, to 1 dollar per kill.

With every kill you score, you gain a predetermined number of credits.

With every death you lose the same number of credits.

As a players skill increases, their rank and pay grade also increase. Servers will generally attempt to match players up according to their rank, unless you're playing unranked gameplay.

Free, non-credited servers will be added for casual gaming.

Expected Gameplay: Gamemodes, Game Mechanics, and Server sizes

Blood Bank will be utilizing the Unity game engine, which will allow us to create large maps. Maps may eventually include vehicles such as helicopters and tanks. Check out the Unity engine game engine showcase here!

We will also try to include 2-4 CQC (Close Quarter Combat) maps in the first release.

Servers sizes may differ with type of gameplay.

Spawning may occur in rounds, seconds, or minutes in some types of tactical gameplay.

Deathmatch will differ because it features instant respawning for constant action and fun!

We will try to implement team spawn rooms, which spawn the player outside of the map, and allows them to teleport to certain spawn points in the map. This help protect players from spawn camping, and helps players utilize spawn-points to gain a tactical advantage on larger battlefields.

If successfully greenlit we may attempt to integrate some of the following game mechanics:

  • Bullet Wall Penetration
  • Bullet drop over distance; ballistics effected by gravity
  • Extended player movement, used for peeking corners and staying behind cover.
  • Special holiday events, and in-game item drops.
  • Squeaky doors that will make noise if you open them too quickly.
  • Mini camera window to show off your precesion sniper headshots.

Blood Bank & The Steam Community: Workshop, Marketplace, and You!

Once Blood Bank is launched, we plan on creating a page on Steam's Workshop. Steam Workshop is a place where users can upload their digital art for fellow gamers and developers to see. If a submission is rated highly by the community we may offer to introduce it into the game! The artist will be paid for his or her work, so start brain-storming!

Types of submissions that may be available:
  • Weapons
  • Player apparel (Vests,Helmets,Hats, Boots, etc.)
  • Maps
  • Item cases

Stockpile Cases & Unboxing Limited Edition Weapons!

Every so often, we will release new cases into the community. These Weapon cases either contain new weapons, weapon skins, armor, or other apparel items. Cases are dropped in game while you play, or after when the match is finished. They require a key to open, which can be purchased from the credit shop. Players may eventually be able to submit weapon skins to the Steam Workshop. The public may vote for their favorite skin, the submissions with the most votes may be selected for admission into Blood Bank.

The creator will be paid if their skin submission is selected! As mentioned before, players may sell the items that they unbox to other players via the Steam Marketplace.

At times we may promote special offers inside cases, for instance you may have the chance to unbox a limited edition item; these items are going to have a set, limted amount of them released into the community. We will inform the community about the item, and the quanity when they go up for grabs!

We already have three limited edition weapons secheduled for release once we release with Steam Early Access.

Security & Anti-cheat Technology: VAC & In-Game Procedures

With the premise of our game being based around making money, many of you must be wondering how we'll protect our players from cheaters and hackers. We're proud to announce that once we're authorize, we will be using Valve Anti-Cheat System (VAC) powered by Steam.

The VAC system has been utilized to protect the following games:

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2

For more information about the Valve Anti-Cheat system, please visit Steams website,

Realistically, every game has hackers. We will have a few in game policies, in addition to VAC to ensure that hackers have a VERY hard time getting through the cracks.

Here are a few of our anti-hack policies:

If you are reported by other players for hacking five times within a week then your account is temporarily suspended until an admin can ensure that you are not hacking.
You cannot withdraw your funds while you have pending hacker reports.
If you are caught hacking, your account will be banned, and your credits will be redistributed to the players that they came from.

These policies, coupled with VAC anti-cheat technology will generally make it more expensive than profitable to hack. These measures will ensure that everyone has a fair, and fun time playing!

Hi there, the pre-made assets weren't the problem as it's a custom thing when you're making a game in Unity 3D. It is true that we were ranked highly in the Steam Greenlight process, easily hitting the top 20~ and we still had more time to go; however Steam classified us as incompatible with their TOS because we needed to allow players to cash out their winnings. I am humbled by our success on here, by real metrics it looks very good for us, even when we released the very early trailer seen here. We're not giving up, we're going to go have to use another DRM service like Desura to help us move our product. Anyway, we value everyones continued support while we go on this journey.

This looks with pretty decent graphics. Can you please elaborate why is this not on Steam?? I just googled "top 20" "steam" "greenlight" - and your game came on first page on google. We're currently in top 50 on greenlight, very likely to hit top 20 or top 10 next week given the speed... Basically we got some complains of using pre-made assets that we are now fixing in order to avoid such complains. Was that your problem?? Thanks again and good luck.

I'm slightly skeptical about this, it looks like a scam to me. Let's just see what happens next.
