Fast Experience and Money early on

A quick and efficient way of gaining experience points and money quickly early on. This is especially helpful if you want to ignore bad game balance and challenge yourself by playing more organically and less game-breaking.

Requirements

There isn't a lot you need. Progress the story until you have unlocked the Defense Boost Order and the second skirmish map.

Preparation

Select the second skirmish mission. Select the easy difficulty if your Scouts have a low level and bad gear, otherwise go with a higher one.

Easy mode grants 3730 EXP and 3490 DCT, Normal mode 5770 EXP and 6130 DCT (thanks to /id/l777ky for the exact numbers)

Place a single Scout (or possibly Shocktrooper) at the very top of your leftmost camp and begin the mission.

Execution

Start by using the Defense Boost Order on your Scout. Select the Scout and walk straight ahead. If you're weak, try to dodge some bullets on the way, but otherwise it's not important. Kill the first enemy soldier you see if you're still weak, but if you have some decent gear already you can easily run past him.



Keep running forward, ignoring the second enemy. As you reach the wall, go right and prepare to immediately enter Aim Mode after cutting the corner - Make sure you started a new action if you killed the first solider so you can attack instantly.

Kill the enemy behind the sandbags. On Easy a single grenade or a few headshots will be enough, on normal and up you have to be more careful with your aim.




Jump over the sandbags and run near the flagpole. Kill the last enemy contesting the camp and capture it - you're done. This shouldn't take longer than two minutes depending on your efficiency and your load times and earn you enough experience in very little time to help you out.

for this strategy Nancy workd great, especially with the ZM Kar 1(g) thanks to both her and the weapons inane high fire power plus her power scout potential you can do this in 2 action (3 counting the defense order) without having to rely on grenades or headshots. that way you won't even need to spawn Largo, Rosie and Alicia saving you some time each run

yeah, just do scout challenge with Alicia - get to the camp in the first turn to defend it, spawn other leader troops for more command points (Rosie and Largo) and some more scouts and empty the map of enemies with scouts. Simple and you get tons of xp

Just in case any one is doing a new play add a sniper to welks camp and largo to other camp extra CP use sniper to kill leader at top of ramp if lucky should be one shot if not thats why largo is here snipe again to kill leader then use order on alicia and follow guide this will net you 6020xp and 6380 dct.

This is horribly inefficient compared to the Scout challenge, which also yields an amazing gun for Scouts and Engineers. Best to just do this one the normal way until you've built up a few Scout levels and then try to complete that one.

Or if you're feeling bold, try the Challenge Skirmishes on the next page [if you have the DLC], as those give some 60k/100k+ for an A [S] result. The key with these is to bring out some leaders so you get more CP.

Thanks for the guide, it helped a lot to be ready for the big tank battle.
Considering other comments, I tried the scout challenge, and the characters do not have enough firepower to mow down the named one... just stick to this map and strat to bring your team at around level 7 to 10 and the following battles will be cake.

There's an addition I would recommend adding to this.

There's a scout leader to the eastern side of the city starting camp which can be killed with a second unit (e.g. Rosie) to provide an additional increased of EXP and money. Obviously I would prioritise the scouts actions first.
