Legends tell of Raiju the Storm Beast, loyal companion of the Storm Celestial Raijin. Having witnessed his master become inextricably bound to the mortal world by the elementalist Thunderkeg, Raiju hungered to once again join battle alongside him. Sealing himself within a Celestial Scroll, Raiju cast himself down into the mortal world and the waiting hands of his master. With the unleashing of the scroll, Raiju transformed himself into a set of electrified armor tempered with the fury of a thousand storms, ready to further empower his master in doing battle on the mortal plane.
