Description
The Action Button Mod aims to move time critical actions to a simpler, quicker, and more efficient one button context sensitive interaction method.

This mod is no longer being developed. It will remain on the Workshop for archive purposes. There aren't any known bugs, but, expect no bug fixes. Most of the functionality in this mod can be found in ACE3. The per-seat vehicle boarding feature requires me to manually add support for each and every vehicle that is released. Because of that, the feature is not sustainable without a scripting command to pull seat locations from a vehicle model.

Install instructions:
  • Download[forums.bistudio.com] and extract CBA (@CBA_A3) to your Arma 3 directory.
  • Click the green subscribe button above
  • Right click Arma 3 in your Steam Library and select "Open Launcher"
  • In the Launcher, select the "PARAMETERS" tab, check the box next to "Mods:"
  • Click the "..." next to the "Mods:" box
  • Navigate to the Arma 3 directory, select the "@CBA_A3" folder you extracted earlier and click Ok
  • Ensure "@CBA_A3" is displayed in the box next to "Mods:"
  • Select the "ADDONS" tab and ensure the box to the left of "Action Button Mod" is checked
  • Select "PLAY"

Concept of Operation
-While in mission, you can configure what key you use through the CBA Keybind Menu. Controls>Configure Addons>Action Button Mod. The default key is Space. Keep in mind that "Use Default Action" defaults to Space, you'll have to unbind it if you want to use the Spacebar.
-A single tap of the Action Button (<0.5 seconds by default) will perform most actions. Looking at a seat in a vehicle will put you in that seat, looking at a backpack or ammo box will open the gear menu, you can open doors and hatches as well.
-If you hold the Action Button for longer then 0.5 seconds while looking at a CSW, box, or gear you'll start dragging the respective object. You can also do this hold-use action to incrementally open doors and hatches using the scroll wheel. Ejecting from a vehicle is activated this way as well.
-The options menu is available by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I by default.
-There is an alternative method of operation available via the options menu titled "Hold use timeout". With this deactivated the 0.5 second timeout is disabled so you can hold the Action Button to your heart's content and look at all of the pretty icons. When you release you will do a tap-use action. To do hold-use actions, hold the Action Button down and tick the scroll wheel in any direction.
-You don't have to be looking right at a specific icon to use it. The code will take at shot at "figuring out" what you want to do.

This mod can't work with new vehicle of APEX, Jet or other new version , can you fix it?

Unfortunatelly your mod breaks the endgame mode. I can not use the actions (space for revive, enter for downloading data) when I'm playing with your mod.
The only other mods are CBA and STHUD so there shouldn't be compatible issues.
