9 March, 2015 - Reactor Zero

Hi Everyone! Thanks again for voting for us and helping us get Greenlit! It's been awhile since our last update, so we thought we'd fill you in on where Rustbucket Rumble stands.

We're working hard on Rustbucket Rumble - since we were Greenlit we've added several new maps, a new character, Maverick, and lots and lots of tweaking to the characters and the Giant Robot sequence and we'll be adding more and continuing to tweak until we launch!

All of our changes are being tested in our closed beta, but we're starting our Open Beta soon! You can sign up for our open beta here[www.rustbucketrumble.com].

We'll only be posting a few more announcements on our Greenlight page (we'll try not to clutter your notification tray) - the start of Open Beta, Game Release, and any highly relevant information. If you'd like to keep more up to date on smaller announcements and get involved with our Closed Beta (going on right now), please join our Steam group, Rustbucket Rumble.

From the co-creator of Descent, a 2D team-based multiplayer combat game where Robot teams square off and destroy their enemy's base:

ATTACK
In Rustbucket Rumble, players control quirky robots in a battle for scarce resources. Work with your teammates to attack, stun, and recycle enemy robots for parts! Build a GIANT ROBOT with the recycled parts to attack your enemy’s base and take control of the map!

ROBOTS
Choose from a group of robots, each with unique personalities and skill sets. From soldiers to ninjas and tanks to engineers, build your team with the right mix of robots to defeat the other team!

BATTLE
Each robot has a unique weapon, carry, and special move. Melt your opponents in close-quarters with a flamethrower, defend crucial areas by building automated turrets, or snag stunned robots in a drive-by carry and then fly out of danger with your jetpack!

DESTROY
Recycle scraps and enemy robots to build your own Giant Robot. Once activated, the Giant Robot has a single command programmed – destroy. Defend your Giant Robot from the other team as he tries to destroy their base – and make sure the other team doesn’t complete their Giant Robot first!
