This is a Halloween 2011 Item

This is one of the miscs for "The Zombie Fortress of Dr. Nedic" pack, which was only a pseudo-pack last year.

"Who needs a REAL doctor when ya got the Medic and his scary needles?"

I am also trying to update my other halloween items from last year. I already have mostly fixed up the chainwrench(couple things need to be done), and my next priority is the grenade launcher and voodoo doll disguise kit.

This thing was a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGEEEEEE pain in the neck to get to work. After I first uploaded this, I later "connected" this to the medic's "skeleton" so it would move with the medics animations (when i first uploaded this, I expected valve to do it). but there were LOTS of clipping issues with the shoulders and coat-tail. i then borrowed the shoulders of the medic model and grafted them onto this thing and that worked. but the medic's legs still clipped through the coat tail. ALOT. I removed the pocket on the coattail and changed the faces of it and did a bunch of weight painting (editing how much each face is affected by the animation bones) and there was still a lot of clipping. then i made it that this would ALSO replace the medic's legs, and I copied part of the legs onto this - FINALLY, it worked and there was only a small amount of clipping during some of the medics animations. But it bothered me that I was replacing the medic's legs- what if someone, someday, wanted to make custom pants for the medic? this would conflict with them. So, I changed it again - this time I copied the medic's coat tail onto this, and made it about half as long. And that is how I finally got it right.
