I am an idiot, thinking this could possibly work with Gods and Kings. Brave New World only, guys! Sorry!

EDIT: By Brave New World only, I mean it requires Brave New World. If you have Gods and Kings it will still work, but only if you also have Brave New World. Should have clarified!

If there are any bugs, let me know!

Mod used for screenshots is Enchanced User Interface[forums.civfanatics.com].

Works well with the Gabenism mod.

The idea of reducing unhappiness is pretty good though. Maybe as a bonus you could eliminate/ignore any of the negative effects that come with unhappiness during the Steam Sales (golden ages/cycles) or change them somehow. The food penalty is quite functional, and I think we can all relate to a reduction in productivity/money during steam sales or when gaming. And you know, forgetting to eat. But maybe we could include an option to increase science (games make you smrter, rite? :P) or maybe convert prod to culture (similar to Research, Wealth) (games are an art form/gamer culture) during the sales.

I think it would be cool if, instead of giving 75% less unhappiness from population, the UA gave a massive discount on random buildings (or even types of buildings maybe - e.g. SCIENCE WEEKEND, or military or w/e) at various intervals. Perhaps during golden ages? Or some other cycle system similar to the Maya. And then the buildings on sale would refresh every turn, or X turns. Maybe include units too. I haven't tried this, 'cause the UB seems a bit ridiculous, but I would enjoy something that simulated the actual Steam Sales a bit more in a balanced way.
